I actually don't mind the bizarre Cov-Sunderland rivalry.

It's actually good for once (certainly since the Villa days which was before my time) to actually have a team that cannot wait to play us instead of being the team no one cares about.

Even when we played Leicester a lot in the Championship it was very much a one sided rivalry that wasn't reciprocated.

I don't mind the Sunderland thing either really, just think it has gone too far and there are a few hotheads who need to have a quiet word with themselves.

I don't agree that the Leicester thing wasn't reciprocated. I think there are some on both sides who are indifferent to it, but when you have fans of both clubs living and working side by side, there will always be a rivalry and for some it matters a lot. The two cities are only 20 miles apart so it will always be there, but it will never be as intense as perhaps it should be. It was a bit full-on in the 80s though.

I've always thought 'shit on the villa' was tremendously unhygienic and tantamount to spreading the plague.

It's non-violent though

Yeah the organised violence in Earlsdon that time between us and Leicester wouldn’t suggest that it’s not reciprocated.

I would hazard a guess this has been shared on the league 1 banter group, massive Coventry and Sunderland fan presence on there... Probably where the Accrington and Lincoln votes have come from

3 teams I've grew up disliking

Leicester (was chased around Leicester for wearing a city scarf about 10 years ago)
Villa (dad drew up disliking them, sort of a hand me down thing)
Leeds (mainly for the trouble at Highfield Road in 95)

Honourable mention

Sunderland.... Have got my back up over the last 2 or 3 years, mainly caused by the way they talk about us

And?

If half of people pick each club that’s 250%, because each one is separate. It’s not a percentage of how much we hate them it’s a percentage of people that put that club in the top five.

The lengths people go to on this site to find something to bitch about when it’s the telegraph is hilarious.

I didn't know everyone had 5 votes, all I saw was the picture. A bit of an overreaction on your part I think. Take an aspirin and have a duvet day.
