So there's this thing running across all of the Mirror Group newspapers inviting football supporters to specify the teams they dislike the most. Not sure what the point is, but thought I'd have a gander anyway. No surprises as far as we are concerned, except for the fact 22% of Accrington Stanley fans named us. Is it just a small sample or have I missed something?

I think I've worked it out....Morecambe are Accringtons main rivals.....and we helped keep Morecambe in L2 with that draw....perhaps?

It's a bit sad that Birmingham were listed fifth - probably fans who disagree with our move and blame Birmingham for it...can't remember any particular nastiness with them.
Villa / Leicester yes - man u (bit odd), Sunderland - poor reflection of them and us and our (recent) long standing! rivalry!

Loads of people say the same but personally I've never had a problem with them and love Elland rd for the away day. Also had a load in our hotel in Ibiza years back and they were sound.
All down to.personal experience I suppose.

Just looked at a few of our other "rivals"....

- Leicester - we rank as their most hated, despite the 39%
- Sunderland - we rank as second most hated, behind only Newcastle.
- Villa - we don't even crack their top 5.

If half of people pick each club that’s 250%, because each one is separate. It’s not a percentage of how much we hate them it’s a percentage of people that put that club in the top five.

I actually don't mind the bizarre Cov-Sunderland rivalry.

It's actually good for once (certainly since the Villa days which was before my time) to actually have a team that cannot wait to play us instead of being the team no one cares about.

Even when we played Leicester a lot in the Championship it was very much a one sided rivalry that wasn't reciprocated.
