Myself and my son met him in the Main stand at Highfield Rd, lovely chap and although I don’t know the full history but I am sure I read somewhere that it was a CCFC Director who backed him in his very early days.
Sad news and I have recently had my prostrate checked (very easy), so if over 50 guys, pick up the phone and request the test

Couple of nice tributes to him on the BBC, including from Damon Hill. Such a big character.

Bryan Richardson piping in with his two penneth worth on CWR yesterday...

In this instance, I will be adopting the mantra 'if you don't have anything positive to say then don't say it at all'

I absolutely concur with your last sentence through experience .
If you are going for a wee a lot or ever pass blood don't ignore it ! Testing is easy for both cancers Eddie Jordan had. Don't be embarrassed or afraid its very important if anything is wrong it gets spotted early . They could be different reasons for those symptoms and it could be caused by other things and not cancer.
