Yep. Just heard this on Talksport. I tuned in halfway through a clip of an interview he'd done recently and was thinking how interesting he's always been - then they said they'd played it in his memory.

Shame.

I remember a couple of years ago he had a lengthly spell from the Sunday Supplement and returned a lot thinner, but seemed to regain his weight again, Cancer was mentioned somewhere but thought nothing of it.

Sad news.
