Right i am getting sick these so called business men acting like five year olds pwkh and sisu should sort this out in private the lot of you are a disgrace to this football club yes that does include you pwkh or wotever your name is!!! How on earth would you genuinely believe that the £400 odd thousand paid by the FA for the academy has been spent on the academy?. This is a club that has even mortgaged off our training ground and has allegedly already used next seasons projected season ticket sales in its financial dealings. Once the academy money had come through from the FA SISU would have been like a fat kid in a sweet shop spending it on other areas to prop up.
It would also be fair enough if The Higgs Trust had concluded that they did not wish to trade with the 'new company' under almost any circumstances, because they might have been given cause to question their commercial credibility as a trustworthy trading partner.
Does anyone else think it extremely odd that the Chief Executive of CCFC(Holdings) Ltd. has bee conspicuous by his absence over the past couple of weeks? I can't help wondering whether he is still responsible for the day to day running the business? Maybe someone else is fulfilling this role? It's all rather strange. :thinking about::thinking about:
The money has to be accounted for!!! Sisu can't just dip the hand into it and take it!!!
Is there anyone out there that can explain to me how these academy kids have been hurt?
Are they being lashed with a cat-o-nine tails until the bill is paid?
Or are they just 'missing out' on a training session?
If that's the case, why not say so, rather than bang on about not being paid which doesn't appear to be the case in this instance?
If it's up-front, as apparently it always has been then fail to see what the problem is.
Has an invoice been sent at all? I know I'd want a breakdown of £12,000 "damages to equipment" if somebody asked for it.
I thought the same thing - I didn't want to say it for fear of being branded a SISU rent boy again!
What did they do for £12k? Write off a tractor, damage 120 goal posts, rip 1200 playing vests?
Seems a lot of money to me.
And just who is holding these kids to ransom ? How long does a business have to wait to be paid ? Just how anyone can offer any sort of defence is beyond me.

i'd wager no on the grounds of not recognising CCFC Holdings as an ongoing ,functioning company .Well seems every party can issue a statement today but we can't get an answer to this most simple of questions
First it was ACL's fault the bill wasn't paid for the Ricoh arrangement and now it is the Alan Higgs centre's fault the training bill hasn't been paid. I suggest to Gregor Rioch he takes his squad to the Memorial Park with a few cones and balls and train them there, might do them good to slum it for a bit.
Only in SISU's world can it be the landlord's fault that they didn't pay the rent :facepalm:
Not sure mine would like it if I said it was their fault if I failed to pay.
Why can't the centre just create a new agreement that puts a hold on any outstanding claim while there is doubt about who it is but term it so that it doesn't prejudice any future claim to that amount and create a new, temporary, agreement to run to the end of the season. In essence saying we'll put this mess to one side and leave that to be sorted out in the meantime pay us £x per week in advance and keep using the facilities, surely that's not too hard to do and similar to what has been done with the Ricoh.
Let's not pretend there isn't a connection between Higgs Centre and ACL, we all know how these things work when there's people working across both organisations. Appears to me that ACL want to force a particular company to pay this bill or at least admit liability, presumably to illustrate that both companies are the same entity and to assist in them being able to push through their preferred new owners.
Too much logic in that post...but hey they are not trying to wreck the academy or hold the kids to ransom.
It depends really, last week when it came out that they were no longer training at the Higgs, "Sisu were gambling with our kids and the clubs future".
I have to admit I did think if they can't get into the Higgs facility for the sake of three months.
You need football pitches, swimming pool, sports hall
Is there any of them anywhere in Coventry and Warwickshire
I know it is not ideal and there are more complications
But the kids futures are not really getting gambled with
Still an issue for me LS .......... I want to know if the future of the academy is secure as that status is in my view vital to the future of the club no matter who the owners are.
If they are to carry on elsewhere then where and does it mean retention of the B status or do we expect a downgrading.
Not bothered about the kids missing a couple of training sessions ........ i want to know that there is a funded plan to keep the academy long term and where.
