yeah, we'll likely ask around a lot of clubs and agents to see what availability and interest there is.

Probably. Bloke I work with is a Wycombe fan and has raved about him. Turned them from a shit house team to play against to attractive, attacking football. The lad might have something but he'd have to hit the ground running here.

I’m open to the idea of an up and coming manager.

But I’d like to see more than it just being the manager of a team on a good run.

What is it about him that means he would suit our environment?

For instance Robins had experience of managing a team without a home before us. Therefore he was ideal when we were in Birmingham

Exactly, not just somebody who has won a few games. Much more in depth planning needed.

Right so the master plan of replacing Mark Robins is a manager who’s never managed in the Championship?

In fact, he’s in his 3rd year as a manager… He may be a good manager, but this has disaster written all over it.

Great vision to bring him in 2 and a half seasons before we moved to St Andrews then.

If there isn’t a sudden upturn in results then the atmosphere will turn incredibly toxic.

The players have no more credit in the bank.

The new manager will have yet to earn any.

King will have used up his remaining credit if he gets this appointment wrong.

We’ll be throwing an inexperienced manager to the wolves

I don't disagree with you. Looking at the list of candidates it would be Carsley for me.

Tried and tested for you then? Who knows what they want. A bloke who’s got 800 games with a win ratio of 38% or an ambitious newbie with current stats that are better. The likes of Lampard prove that big names and lack of experience is a bad combination as well.

Could be meeting in an advisory capacity. However, he maybe one of very few people who would be prepared to come in and work with the current set up, surely though his age would point to him being too in the Adi mould for that.

If you’re going to sack such a legend, you’ve got to make the next appointment an exciting one.

A manager at the top end of L1 is not exciting - we’ve seen a few L1 managers struggle e.g. Schumacher, Warne.

I like Carsley but do not fancy anyone who has no experience of being at the top end of a 2nd division league or even top division experience.

It’s a no from me.

Who was a prodigy at Man U and since won a promotion with the club that gave him a chance.

This Bloomfield has gone straight into management, is yet to achieve anything of note as a manager. I wouldn’t write him off but it’s not an appointment that makes me believe he can take us forward.

The Coventry job is an attractive gig currently. So I would expect some quality interest in the head coach role.
