Depends on your definition of "best". Most competitive, for sure, but I don't think the football has the quality of most of the premier league

Just think the atmosphere is the best, playoffs are brilliant. A lot of tactical variation which you don’t get in the premiership. More football is always a plus and no VAR.

As one of the those fans who’ve never seen us in the top flight, I’d love it for a season but genuinely think the championship is the best league in England

It was mostly shit but we occasionally best Man Utd or Liverpool and then it was fucking amazing. Plus the amount of quality players you’d see was significantly higher both for and against us. The shit stuff would probably be way shitter today, don’t know if the good stuff would be better. Class players seem to have less impact and freedom these days.

Would be nice to just visit the grounds if that makes sense, have a Villa derby match and be able to watch the highlights after the match on bbc .

Ultimately the only reason I want us too achieve it is to become a safe club like Luton, the funds you would imagine would let us either buy the stadium or be become owned by someone who would link the two so we never have to go nomad again.

I know Doug gets his fair detractors but it’s nice to be able to talk about transfers and tactics and not what protest is coming up or NOPM or where are we going to play next.
