I reckon King has looked at all these Champ teams with foreign managers we've never heard of and fancies a bit of that. It'll be some random Dutch, Swede or German manager. Just not Lampard or any of those shite ex-players.

Why has lampard got any credit? I don't understand why we wouldn't try for a tried and tested champ manager

He's one of those shite managers - like Rooney and Mark Hughes and a bunch of others - that just get jobs because of their name. We want a good manager not a good ex-pro who has no idea.

I’d take Rosenior, Moyes, Potter or Robbie Keane

Selles would be the pick for me from that list. I have a mate who is a Reading fan and he is already panicking that his name is even being mentioned.

Because he's shit and his good season at Derby was due to Chelsea loaning him Tomori and Mount and Liverpool leaning him Wilson.

That's why I'd be interested to see him.

He's got far stronger connections than someone like Robins within the game.

I see the Facebook crowd are acting like the interim manager is the next appointment as if a member of the coaching staff isn't just the obvious go-to for an interim manager.

Stuff him. If King needs to get anything right it’s to avoid the aforementioned failures. Lampard for one.

God I don't have faith in Doug & Co to hire the right manager based on the coaching appointments.

Need someone from Europe like Sheff W & Sunderland managers.
