Club management is a totally different beast though and there’s no pressure at all in managing the U21s. We would again need someone to learn on the job when we don’t have time for that.Think out of the options he’s the best pick out the bunch.
Plays attractive football. Won a couple of trophies with younger lads and has that experience of how to manage them.
Seems to be a big personality from his playing days and has local links to the area.

It sounds like a pre-rehearsed answer. as he has one more U21 fixture to fulfil before taking over at CovTbh the reply sounds more like a denial.
