It is going to take more than the Wycombe manager to keep these Billy Big Bollocks in check

Honestly fans should have little influence on decisions like this because they’re generally under qualified, overly emotional and not in possession of all the facts.

The best thing we can do for the club is to keep supporting it.

That’s what we did in the late 90s when there were some awful off the pitch decisions being made. Look how well that turned out.

Chris Davies?

He was 1st team Senior Coach after being Brendan Rodgers 1st team assistant at Celtic and Leicester and having worked under him at Liverpool.

Fucking hell, as per , anyone with slightest connection to club/area getting touted on FB. Every time thinking they'll magically be the answer! - (Alan Shearer would like a word)

Doyle - no
Evatt -no
Carsley - hard maybe
Eustace - nah
Bobby Gould -
Lady Godiva - No

Has Klopp ever spent a weekend in Leam?

Were all putting names forward but there are two issues. 1, How would a lower inexperienced manager get a tune out of the players we have at the minute when they have thrown the most experienced long serving manager outside the Prem under the bus. 2 We have no attacking midfielders that can either break the line or slip in a pass.

This team at the minute needs someone who is an out and out inspirational leader that they can look up to and that isn't someone from Wycombe. They need a coach that they believe can make them better who's walked the walk or done the job at this level at least. I don't know who that will be but outside of Carsley but I don't think he will come from these islands. Perhaps he is already lined up and might be influencing January spending already we don't know. The thing about lower league manager to use McKenna as an example is that they build teams, ours is already in place.

Im going to be more shocked by who it is than the fact Robins got sacked. I have no idea which way King is thinking. What i do assume is he has known for a while he was going to make the Robins decision so therefore will have someone very much in mind.

To those saying it is an attractive opportunity to join, yes it will be, but to balance that, some may be put off by the fact that seems to be little loyalty shown to one of the best managers in our history and the expectation coming in.

Whoever comes in will need to be confident of hitting the ground running.

He was given a lot of games to show improvement. He’s gone whether we like it or not. Yes, it would be great to hit the ground running. After all, it’s a results business.

Exactly, it’s a great job for any enthusiastic manager, we’ve got a very decent squad, an owner who is at least willing to spend some cash and doesn’t talk down against staff/players, a very loyal and loud fanbase, and we’re currently sitting in 17th place so it’s most likely there will be progress rather than a further regression in form.

For a manager who wants to really kick on with their career and make a name for themselves, like McKenna for example, we’re a great opportunity.

Now you're talking. His stats have got even better since the last time he was punted on here.

Does he have the clout/stones to tell a £9m Haji to pull his finger out is the question

Whoever the new man is will have unbelievable levels of pressure on them from the off.

Unless they immediately go on a winning/ unbeaten run the fans won't have it.

If it continues to be mediocre performances and false dawns they won't last the season

To add to that, they'll be no honeymoon period or good will in the bank. Instant results or no point.

Probably would prefer Lee Carsley out of the options available I think.
At least he's already tried and tested the 'all attacking midfielders at once with no striker' experiment beforehand

He sounds like a good manager but in reality, we’re trying to get promoted as a club, presumably.

Therefore, why would we hire a manager with no a) 2nd division experience or b) promotion experience.

Yeah, he was just waiting for the next defeat. Probably had made up his mind after Sheffield Wednesday. The wins against Luton and Middleborough just delayed the inevitable.

I suppose being one of the league’s top scorers isn’t “pulling his finger out”?

Our fans are something else

Also, the thought of having either Lowe and Schumacher terrifies me too. They're the kind of managers who will be desperate for a job at a club likes ours. I hope we go for a foreign nobody rather than someone who has already failed in the Championship.

Moyes and Potter wont take the job so pointless even talking about their merits.

Carsley is an interesting shout, got the England u21s playing lovely football, way more progressive than you'd have thought. Did spectacularly mess up his team against Greece the other month though.

Not enthused by the Wycombe guy, his good run isnt a long enough sample to judge him on.

Please god not a dinosaur like Big Sam.

Such a huge call from King. could go spectacularly tits up.

What I don’t get and I know I haven’t been the best positivity, but we won two games after scoring three goals and were three unbeaten.

Why now, seems so odd if we haven’t got someone lined up
