When does their sponsorship of the stadium end ?

just seen on wiki

The name comes from a sponsorship deal, reported to be worth £10 million[SUP][8][/SUP] over 10 years. Ricoh's sponsorship of the new stadium was confirmed on 26 April 2005

So, they have about 15 months left.

Does that 1 million a year go to ACL / Council ?

I understand that the payment was for 10 years, presumably from 2005.

If no football club at renewal, can't see them getting anywhere near 10mill

IIRC there was a renewal done and it has years to go.

It is only SISUE that doesn't bother with new contracts until it is too late.

Runs till 2025 now, IIRC it was stated by ACL (PWKH?) that Ricoh weren't really that bothered if there was a football team there or not. Guess that's true else they wouldn't have renewed.

Well yeah, the Ricoh is an events stadium so keeping the name makes sense for that company. Any staged event there and they get the publicity.
