There have been a lot of great contributions to this thread however one thing worries me... The value of the Ricoh as we move into 2014 has nothing to do with its value in 2012.

I have worked on acquisitions and for companies that have been the subject of a takeover and experience says you need to look at the parties involved to gage whether a deal might be done. Sellers want twice the value and buyers want to pay half - somehow they meet somewhere in the middle. JS (SISU) need the stadium (ACL) badly but want it for nothing. CCC and Higgs Trust don't need to sell. Seems that any deal is a million miles away.

If I were CCC I'd reject any request for any independent valuations of ACL and / or the freehold on the basis that they don't need to sell. They should name their price and ask SISU to pay. If SISU don't want to pay the asking price they should be told to fcuk off and build their SH1TBowl in Warwickshire.

CCC have the upper hand here - SISU are in a complete mess while they're in Northampton. As ticket sales are far lower than planned they losing money at a faster rate than forecast. Seppala will wait for two years because she can get away with doing nothing. CCC should be equally as patient.

I want to get the club back in Coventry but I think we'll be at Sixfields for at least another two seasons.

Ricoh was worth £6.4m late 2012 based on no CCFC rent. Council court papers reveal a council report had stated this according to Les Reid.

What would it be worth now? What should SISU offer if this is true?

Are you saying you think it's a good idea for SISU to buy the stadium?

You realise that if you both stopped following Grendel around and jumping on his every word he might not enrage you into such cutting barbs?

You could probably show your apathy towards him a little more successfully by not commenting on every breath he takes.

Of course you don't care. That's why you reply to everything I say. Admit it, you hang into my every word.

Can the chuckle brothers not give it a rest? It is the same sort of time every night when both descend on here with a lot of random, off topic posts. (Note: not all random and off topic, some good posts).
