Bang on!!
Wasps playing russian roulette with the club, makes me so angry that there is no pressure being put on them. Why the hell aren't The Trust and JHW encouraging cranking up pressure on them. Protests against SISU have had and will have zero effect.
Wasps got into bed with the council a long long time ago... before our move to Sixfields. People who say Wasps have done nothing wrong must have little love for CCFC as ultimately them refusing to do a deal with the club will either kill it or resign it to relegation to non league football.
Having played at most levels of that, anybody wishing a "phoenix club" have absolutely no idea what they will be facing. Trying to get through the leagues is incredibly difficult with many clubs throwing massive amounts at it and failing. Some of the holes that you would go to are archaic with horrific facilities. People may not also realise that we would attract players of around that level (budget = income etc) and it could be years, if ever that CCFC would see the football league again.
By refusing to talk/deal with CCFC, WASPs are equally culpable and could kill our club.
Get the pressure on them, get it public, make it known that if thet play a part in killing CCFC then the people of Coventry will not make life easy for them (??)
If people want CCFC to survive in any form worthwhile, start cranking it up on WASPS!!!!
WASPS are going to be a factor in our non existence if the current direction of protest/action is followed.
Get some balls Trust and JHW and start to aim in other directions too!!!

But who is going to help make life uncomfortable for wasps?
No one on here just rant and rave and do nothing they wouldn't turn up for anything would just sit at home taking the piss as usual.
You talk about balls well there's hardly any on here.

Our protests have always been poor. SISU have run this football club horrendously and very little has been done.

Look at all the other poorly run football clubs in England. Leeds, Pompey, Blackburn and now Blackpool. All of them protested better than us and have all now been successful.

I'm pleased for Blackpool this week. Their fans protested in a well-organised fashion. They boycotted religiously when needed.

And they still made no difference.

People will take the credit for it though.

People aren't bothered if it is going to make any difference. All a few teenagers running about the stand will do is increase stewarding costs for future games.

It's about getting a few likes and a bit of kudos isn't it? For some it's just an excuse to act up (see people and the tennis ball craze).

The example about Blackpool is another good example. #fansunited and people saying the fans did it. You have people saying a few teenagers running about after the game today will unite fans.

In some cases that's right, but when 7000 city fans march to broadgate it isn't. Just because in hindsight it ultimately didn't result in SISU moving on doesn't mean it was worthless. Cardiff City fans forced the owners to change their minds over the shirt colour issue. That wasn't a waste of time. I don't think all teenagers who demonstrate simply do it for likes etc, but I take your point.
If CCFC cease to exist as both sides refuse to back down, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the backlash against wasps is enough to see them gone in the medium term. I hope that is something they seriously consider. We should be ramming that home to them, not sucking up to them.

In some cases it would if their owner gives half a toss.

Not all will be doing it for likes, some will want to do it because they genuinely think it will make a difference as well.

I don't think there would be backlash to be honest, the pr would be so easy for them.

Absolutely pathetic protest.

Make it about staying at the Ricoh and I'll join in. Another pointless rant about SISU out and I'm afraid I'm out too. They're not listening and they don't care. In fact the ground situation apart we've been given a budget to compete as well as many others in this league so I'm not sure changing them helps.

Stay at the Ricoh is the only important point worth shouting about.

No, but those teenagers are the only ones doing anything.

This club could genuinely be homeless in a matter of months and as fans we've sat back and let it happen. Not many other clubs would have sat back like we have.

I do not have a problem with fans protesting when their club is under serious threat. It probably won't make a difference but to sit back and do nothing is unthinkable.

It is a demonstration of passion of meaning to the team but also it expresses the frustration and so long as kept legal I do not think is wrong. People need to feel they are doing something it doesn't matter it will probably not change anything. Sometimes you need to develop community and unity to go forward it isn't just about solve the problem. How do you demonstrate the passion if you never show it.

It shouldn't in my mind be about just the owners of ccfc but I can understand the average fan seeing sisu as the target especially youngsters. The only thing just about everyone can agree on is that they want sisu gone - so it's an easy and pre programmed target.

On the positive side it seems lessons have been learnt and games as yet not disrupted. I would hope but do not expect that will continue as frustration grows.

Right now I would prefer we concentrate on getting a rent deal not ownership change. That means legal expression of fans frustration against both sides. Realistically that targeting is not going to happen in equal measure even if it should.

Not a time to sit and accept I think. But that is for each to decide and it doesn't make that choice or the choice to protest wrong.

Agree OSB.
Even if SISU were to go it wouldn't solve the immediate impending crisis, so it's a wasted protest. In fact it could strengthen Wasp's resolve as it demonstrates that SISU will get 100% of the blame from the fans whose voice is heard

Yes he was really encouraging it.
Hearded about 20 of them that made there way over to block 22 must have been 100 stewards around them then formed a line too to bottom of block 16 ,17.
Stewards were hearling abuse at the kids long it calling them stupid and immature tried to say don't forget all these stewards are CCFC fans, this has been reported to the head steward.
Funny but the bunch by us were all from Derby.
Never asked us to move said you had the right to protest for 30 minutes.
I have never seen so many stewards at a football game in my life.
You had yellow vests , Green vests, Orange vests and when we were leaving the Pink vests came out.

He absolutely isn't. You don't know me and neither does he. Properly organised at the end of the game to be we want to stay rather than sisu out and I'm there. I imagine true for lots more too but the battle they're promoting is pointless. The first sisu out chant and I imagine many will head for the exits. It's not that we like them but detracts from the issue at hand.

I’m not one to shoot down people who wish to protest, but the Trust and the JHW couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery. There needs to be some directed action about the rent deal rather than the Sisu out protests that have been done before to no avail. It’s not hard to push a sit in on social media,on CWR etc but at the moment it seems to be small independent groups protesting rather than organised action. Look at the numbers the march got in our relegation season with a bit of organisation.

Triggered by me saying I'd join in a demo for the right reasons. Have some time away from the screen and go and wank that tiny penis you mention because you're clearly not getting any.

Scream and shout about everything but will not take any action themselves, shouldn't matter who organises it if you feel that strongly about it and nothing is being done do it yourself.

If they want to do a sit in fine. It won’t make the slightest difference nor will marches or meetings in the Albany club.
People are fraustrared and feel they want to do something which is fair enough. The younger fans are energetic and full of life and like most of us at that age try to make a change maybe nievely thinking it will work.
Fair play to them but in honesty it’s like your house burning down and you have a garden hose. You feel you have to do something to stop it but it’s not going to make the slightest difference.
I do hope we can all relax one day and get on with the football side of things instead of having this worry over our heads. I wouldn’t knock them and in a way I’m proud of them “having a go” and showing what the club means to them.

I think the steward is legally wrong. No one is trespassing as we were all let in legitimately and if they threatened to move what grounds would there be?

I think this could run and I’d like them to attempt to move thousands of people including children

So Wasps can charge more and CCFC pay more for policing?

It's no wonder their bloke seemed up for it! It's like when people were protesting against Nike but buying Nike things to burn them.

It's the same as refusing to leave a nightclub when it closes.

It just depends how much force they would want to use, judging by the stewarding recently it would probably be used. People would then be angry at the club about it while Wasps sit there laughing.

You can't read can you? IT DETRACTS FROM THE REASON TO PROTEST! I don't scream or shout about anything. I go to football to have fun, be entertained and support the team. I've already said I'd join in a properly organised demo about the matter in hand but you and your trust buddies are so blind to the actual situation that you have a single agenda in removing SISU and it won't work.

To be fair to Rob, I remember calling him all sorts for his views so I don't think he's really a SISU Lover.

I haven't received his formal request to be in the gang anyway.

I dont have a single agenda at all I have protested against every group involved and still do.
I am waiting for someone to organise a Wasps demo.

Like I have said many times before if the Trust WON'T organise one nothing stopping anyone else doing it,
From the outrage on bere shouldnt be hard to get hundreds on board so come on I am waiting to help out where I can.
