Wouldnt surprise me at all if they review it at their meeting and its deceded that it needs to be investigated at their next meeting", thus, leaving it out in the open

The reason for the hold up is simple, Labovich is doing the rounds again, advising all he can that Seppala is so hurt by Judge's comments that she is going to continue to litigate and appeal, and appeal and appeal, so on that basis there is no chance of bringing cov back to cov. The Football League need to grow a pair and take on Sisu. Would you have a tenant in your house who continues to litigate you?

No, but I would at least talk to them in rose to negotiated a deal which would include the dropping of the litigation. This is business, the club returning will not only bring in rent but will boost the general economy of ACL and it's partners.

Did ACL forward their rent offer on to sisu that they submitted to the FL last year?

About November time IIRC .

Can't remember exactly but I felt It was a statement given to illustrate that they were moving on and wanted to register with the fans that they were trying but If that offer wasn't taken up whatever came next wasn't down to them .

So a form of PR but the offer was Gen IMO.

I think what we're seeing Is the same PR in play now ,i'd wager that was ACL's best offer and It didn't come with matchday's .

I think we will see what sort of backbone the FL have, I'm thinking it will be rather jelly like.

Stupot,

It's not held by the FL it's held by sisu's lawyers,, and i would not be shocked if the offer being talked about is a % of the 590.000 to the FL..

Hang on....didn't ACL send an offer direct to the FL....what use is that? If you wanted to rent me your house you wouldn't the offer to an organisation....oh wait..

Sisu don't have the 590k it's already been paid into an escrow account held by the FL as instructed by the FL

No i don't believe everything sisu and 'Timmy' tell me. I hadn't read that bit in telegraph. I stand corrected, the escrow is held by sisu's lawyers.

No need to insult me.

I'm expecting them to just agree with sisu they have done at every other turn no matter how obvious that they were wrong, the football league even peddled the line that ccfc were thrown out of the Ricoh.

The ACL offer was known to all.
The SISU offer is not known.
It's a big difference.

There was a very obvious reason ACL made the offer via the FL. At the time they had been making offers to SISU yet SISU were claiming they hadn't received them. Given the timing of the offer made via the FL I suspect it was an attempt by ACL to show the FL that the option of having us playing in Coventry was open to SISU in the hope the FL would enforce their own rules.

So, have the FL passed the offer on, like they did with ACL's? If not, why not? Surely just passing it on isn't waiting for a meeting or anything?

Unfortunately Italia, none of the parties involved in the discussions really don't need to tell you, I, or the homeless guy down the street sweet FA.

It doesn't matter what any of us think. Only 2 parties can make this happen and that's sisu and ACL.

They have 2 days to make it happen. I am optimistic but I don't know why.

Just my prediction, the money is sorted on August 7th Thursday and season starts the 9th with Cardiff at home Tuesday 12th. I believe a deal will be wanted to start the season with not by Xmas so if this deal is going to happen it must be by August 9th so 2 days to do a deal.

Just my opinion and prediction.

Fair enough thanks, I really hope you are right.

Personally I don't even think they are talking, I think it's just in the clubs interest to make things seem more positive at the moment while trying to sell season tickets and recruit players. I hope I'm wrong, I'm not going to a single game until we are back.

Same here. I won't go to 1 game at sixfields. I could as money and travel isn't a problem but it's morally wrong IMO.

It could well be as you say just a ploy to raise hopes get fans on side and sell a few more tickets but tbh in my view sisu have never released statements like they have done and don't see them was if their time and losing face which they have to do so.

They want back home and they have 2 days to do a deal. The money will be paid although amount is still debateable though I don't see why it shouldn't be 590k and move on.

They could of course come back mid season even though fl rules state it's not allowed but they make it up as they go along. I don't see much point either. If you kick off at sixfields then that's their choice so they made their bed so they lie in it.
