Does anyone know the terms of the planning permission for the Ricoh?

Everyone assumes that if SISU/Otium want the ground they get everything. Could the council sell them just the stadium and concourse and keep the rest for themselves?

Possibly in those terms the stadium itself is only worth £7-10m.

But the cold hearted cow, otherwise known as club owner, has stated she wants all the development land that goes with it.

We'll never know. They won't sell to them. I'm bored of it now, there's no end in sight.

Coventry City Council have an interest and obligation for the development of the city, creation of jobs and economic growth.

If SISU had a viable plan to develop the Ricoh and the surrounding area and the capability to deliver, I think the council would be on board. They would undoubtedly have got the Ricoh on favourable term.

The fact is SISU have never sold anybody any vision or realistic plan

This is why so many people mistrust them, Including CCC and rightly so.

Have you never wondered why they have never tried to harder to get the fans on board? It would be in their interest surely to have public support. Unless those plans aren't in the best interest of CCFC, the fans, or the people of Coventry. That is the only conclusion I can make.

Not entrenched just waiting for SISU to show me a viable vision of the future!

Fuck me. Yet it's OK for the Council to state that the football club should develop the land on their behalf. Get your head out of ACLs arse and you might see the bigger picture. I think you'll struggle there though.

Maybe you can explain what benefit our club (not Sisu Capital Partners their funds or any associated businesses) would get from owning the stadium as well as the ACL lease and the associated revenues, as opposed to just owning the ACL lease and the associated revenues from that?

First of all, no I will not fuck you, secondly can you tell us what the bigger picture is then because Sisu have held their cards so close to their chest that Joy has an imprint of the ace of spades on her tits.

I agree. The owners would not on the face of it be a business that develops themselves so what would be the point of the council selling them the land?

It should also be borne in mind that giving SISU / Otium the stadium etc is only a short term fix in itself. Selling off bits of land is how so many businesses have managed to survive (and especially football clubs). In the end what they have to sell runs out and the business goes Kaput anyway. The business itself has to be viable.

Is there a plan for that?

Yes we've been there before In 2003.

Such a naive statement. Do you think, under any circumstances, that SISU are seeking to ”benefit the club"?
