Nobody fighting Sisu's battles?

Well we can just leave that to the courts or we can blame Wasps, CCC, ACL and Higgs therefore distracting everyone from the mess and distress that Sisu have and are still causing this club. Fuck me some even blaming the Trust!!!

So yes suppose your right some genius posts on here

Absolutely, they are the issue but what can we do to get rid of SISU? They know how we feel, attendances are as low as ever and we are in our worse position on the pitch in many years, don't own a stadium and no realistic plans to either build or buy one, there doesn't look to be any reason for them to stay and yet they have shown no signs of leaving soon.

Also SISU's actions doesn't mean everyone else gets a free pass and is blameless, the root of our problems is SISU but other parties haven't been particularly helpful.

A diabolical act some here are giving Wasps a free pass for 'because they had to'. If Wasps hadn't come in and SISU had got ACL on the cheap then the Sixfields stay could also be defended on the basis of 'it had to be done' to secure the business. Indefensible whoever does it.

I know you are not a Coventry rate payer but why would you want the Ricoh Freehold to fall into the hands of a unknown hedge fund?

Maybe you should ask the councillors who sold it to one then.

I get fed up of people, who are disappointed that Sisu did not get hold of the stadium and rent it back to the club, fighting their battles for them.
But it happened and I want to see what justification Sisu have for moving us to a new stadium. From them, not the ill informed few that put the case for them.

It is much more than anybody fighting for SISU.

Have you ever seen me have a good word for them? But I can see what the future holds for our club even when SISU pack up and leave. We will be at the mercy of a rugger club that has nothing to do with Coventry. We will still be able to progress as a football club as long as we can get a decent enough deal to stay at the Ricoh. It shouldn't be as bad as many make out. But why should they get what should be 'our ground' for a pittance? The whole situation is a joke. A joke that our club will be paying for in many years to come. I didn't want SISU to get the arena on the cheap. I wanted CCC to wait until we had decent owners and let us have a peppercorn rent. But never mind. If our club folds we can at least go and watch rugger where we should be watching our club play football.

We more or less know that there isn't a new ground in the planning. We are one move away from being in the shit. You ain't seen nuffin yet.

We have to immediately get into bed with Wasps not fight them.
The only stadium we will ever have is the Ricoh so lets talk positive and get back to football.

Anybody else like me waiting for the Sisu court action against CCC for selling to Wasps ?
The crap goes on.

TBF I wouldn't think sisu will not go to court over this they must also have had a belly full of it, just think of he players we could have brought in with the money they have wasted, if they do persist it will cost them more, fuck me they could have brought the ricoh with there fight everyone fund?

You well know my thoughts on the matter. And you could say that some people are trying to defend the Wasps absolute diabolical act of removing their team away from their supporters. And a fair bit more than the 34 miles we had.

But I am more pissed off about them getting the Ricoh and all chances of our club getting it seem to have gone.

You never know. SISU might be gone in 250 years. We will have to see if there is a stadium left that we can get a lease for our club so we will have a home.

I agree, but it's done.
If the arena was your asset what would you have done?
Wait for new owners to take over CCFC from SISU who will only sell at the top of the cycle, while they continue their threat of a new stadium and continue to drag out the court process.
Or, sell to a top Rugby side who in an instant will do what you always intended and take over ACL.

The chances of CCFC getting the Ricoh while Sisu are in charge is near to zero.

And you are right but the lions share if not all is down to sisu they didn't want or couldn't afford the Ricoh or they would have put in a serious offer after the council said they would sell.

I went to a meeting with Fisher at he end of last season when we suggested that Sisu put in a bid for the Ricoh and make it known that they had. His reply was no ne will speak to us. Sorry but it was a total cop out and we told him so, any excuse they could find we have heard.

He at that time asked for the supporters help we told them make it public and then if the council won't speak to you, we will know who to blame, well as usual they knew best, The rest as they say is history. That offer by the way was never made.

It amazes me you flounced off lots of times last season from the forum, vowing never to come back, and yet here you are, but not re CCFC just acting as Promotions Director for Wasps, turning it into your own personal wank fest for them.

Oh and as you posted earlier that you would go to watch Wasps as the stadium is a convenient 10 minute walk, whilst you wouldnt attempt to go to Cov Rugby as it was a bit of a drive away, how the hell did you get to Highfield Road all those years???

Like Wasps, sir you are a perfect hypocrite.

None of that makes it right.

SISU took us to Northampton. It still isn't right. CCC let wasps have the arena. It isn't right.

If it was my asset and I knew I was right I would have kept it all the way. Maybe done a very cheap rental agreement with Wasps.

They never intended for an out of City rugger club to take over the Ricoh. So how was that intended?

I agree.

But in the same way the SISU thing was a consequence thing with the way that Richardson ran things. I would prefer to blame Richardson for what he did, SISU for what they have done and CCC for what they have done. If you start playing the blame game nearly everyone could be seen as being innocent by some.

Sorry mate I was not having a go at you was just posting that they were never serious about buying the Ricoh and would have stayed in Northampton if they had got the support they expected.
The Wasps situation is a effect caused by Sisu rightly or wrongly.

Their is nothing now that we can do about it we have to move on.
Wasps will ether live or die but can't see us making a difference in that.

We need to worry about CCFC not wasps to many people now derailing threads on here with wasps shit yet our owners sit quietly say nothing as usual, we need them to start interacting with the fans show us their 5 year plan lets see the future, is it worth supporting or not?

Plan A seemed to be getting into the Prem and making a lot of money. Fail.

Plan B seems to have been getting the arena through litigation. Fail.

I hope that they manage to come out with a plan C that has a chance of succeeding. What they would need is to be truthful with us. We could then back them and have a better chance of it happening.

I was 12 when I started to go on the number 20 bus that took me from the bottom of my street to the steps at the spoon kop and back. The clubs first year in the top division. I was a kid and hooked.

Never liked rugby until my daughter started playing for Keresley women. Started to enjoy the matches on tv including England and Euro matches including Wasps.

Will try the first match and see how it goes.

As for Last season I threatened to leave if they stayed out there and it worked

And that is all most of us want, all this we can't tell you shit.

They understand this and acknowledge this but they just don't have it in them to follow it up.
The whole company needs to get into the 2000's not stay the 70's.
A CI project is required I think.

One of the rare times that SISU were truthful to us was when they said we were moving to Northampton. The only problem is we were supposed to be staying there until a new ground was built.

If their supporters don't follow them to Coventry and they can't attract new supporters they will have to do something. Like make a profit on the arena and use the money towards a base closer to London.

More like they didn't want to pay what it was seen to be valued at. So they removed our club from Coventry to reduce the value of the arena and started litigation for added pressure. They then started asking for independent valuations. The only problem is that the continual fruitless litigation burned all bridges. Then someone else came in with an offer for the 'white elephant'. The value had been reduced so they got it very cheaply. And it has left our club well and truly fucked.
