Why isnt the mantra,
'Sisu go back to the Ricoh and pay the 150k rent ACL have made clear they will accept?'

Sisu are the owners, responsible for the clubs well being, the ball is in their court- or should be is they are indeed concerned with our well being.

Cause we have no leverage with sisu we do with ccc

The ACL board stated:

Ms Seppala’s verbal statement during this meeting, made in the presence of her own lawyers that the only circumstance in which the Club would return to the Ricoh would be upon SISU assuming full ownership of the venue without any negotiation on purchase price.
"Ms Seppala also stated at this meeting her intention to continue to threaten ACL and its shareholders with expensive litigation at every possible opportunity.

Must be true if ACL stated it.

ACL also stated this:

“There are various options now open the administrators. At the very least, we would hope to see revised CVA (Creditor Voluntary Arrangement) proposals, which we have been requesting for the last two weeks.”

A spokesman for Paul Appleton said: "Contrary to ACL's statement I can confirm there has been no request for a revised CVA."

That Labovitch fella denied the bit about the no negotiation on price comment issued by ACL but from both sides it does seem as though SISU will only return if they get part ownership in the arena or at least access to a chunk of the revenues

Has PWKH forgiven you yet for your "misunderstanding"? Seeing you grovel and bend over backwards was the funniest thing on here for years. Are you not capable of forming an opinion of your own?

Grendel. You really need to improve your comprehension of the English language, although that's the least of your problems. For one so arrogant you are mighty dim.

Why should they get it free, they have done things that suggest they should be overcharged this season not get it for free

Sorry Pete but SISU can't 'in their minds' put ACL out of business whilst at the Ricoh.
I am very confident if ACL offered to pay SISU 10k a match to come to the Ricoh, SISU would reject it.

I would love them to make a rent free offer, not sure it would be taken up though. Fwiw i was outside the council house several years ago, before sisu took over, with about 100 others calling on the council to help the club avoid administration by giving it a share of acl, i would be happy to support a similar protest now with regard to no rent.

Sorry Cheshire but here we go again...more unsubstantiated comments. Prove to me where SISU have 'stated' they will only negotiate to buy the arena on their terms?
What you go on to speculate is also far fetched rubbish. I could do the same and suggest they will get the arena and then clearly sell it on with the football club for a return on their original investment? But you know that would be pure speculation on my part, can't possibly happen could it?

As for the free rent this season. I made this comment some time ago. Why not? Who stands to lose out if such a deal was in place? match day cost apart this would benefit everybody. problem is drawing a line in the sand and letting go of ego's on both sides before any such idea can be possible.

Dont agree, fans are the main source of income for Sisu. A company cant be sustainable without revenue, they have to be sensitive to customers sooner or later. Unless you believe we are just an accountancy debt pit to them....

I must admit it is a possibility, the other being they must get ownership of the Ricoh and are bluffing to get it over the next 3 to 6 months [and will take the revenue hit].
If we are being used as a debt pit though, surely everyone must see the need to focus on getting Sisu out as the priority.....

The vast majority do though don't they?

That's why I think we are at the end game of whatever is going on and why I think CCC have some movement to draw out Sisu even more - We really should be asking our councillors to act - push sisu further into a corner

Agree, the problem is everyone is focussing on Sisu while ACL say nothing and do nothing.

i don't think ccc dare do or say anything to the end of the litigation appeal process. can the appeal the appeal if they loose again? who knows, one thing for sure shitsu will go down fighting and they wont care who they take with them and i think that is possibly the biggest threat to the club, if it does disappear from existence it wouldn't surprise me if its at the hands of shitsu revenge.

agree with you there. i think if they ever got hold of the ricoh they would spend just enough on the club back into the championship and then sell it becoming the clubs landlord and if that happened the anti acl lot would be praying for them to return within a year, shitsu really would be the landlord from hell.

the other possibility is that they hold onto the club but the ground etc will be in a different shitsu company and lets see how quickly the rent goes up then, faster than you could say acl, only then you wont be able to blame ccc and you will have no-one to complain too.

At the end of the day Sisu would probably refuse free rent unless they get the pie money as well that is all they ever seem to care about.

They own nothing at the arena but want a cut of every thing so why not in return Give ACL or the fans a cut of the Club

would be a great idea but cant see council offering it, they seem tot ake every decision possibly to hurt the club.

I was accosted by a Fester fan this morning who asked me which of these is the odd one out. They were Bruce Springstein, Muse, Psychic Sally and CCFC. No surprises that it was CCFC as he took great delight in telling me that all the others are playing at The Ricoh this year.

This will only be resolved when SISU realise they have made a big mistake getting involved in a football club and accept they are going to lose a substantial sum of money. Nowhere near as much as you think or they like to imply but a loss on investment nevertheless. This could be mitigated by them selling their hold on the actual club with all debt cleared to a prospective buyer who would unite club and Arena in a separate purchase from Higgs/CCC. Is there anyone to do this and at what price, I'm not sure?!

Pax. Here is the statement taken from the CT

""It is interesting to note Mr Fisher’s failure to mention Ms Seppala’s verbal statement during this meeting, made in the presence of her own lawyers that the only circumstance in which the Club would return to the Ricoh would be upon SISU assuming full ownership of the venue without any negotiation on purchase price.

"Ms Seppala also stated at this meeting her intention to continue to threaten ACL and its shareholders with expensive litigation at every possible opportunity.

http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sp...news/coventry-city-ricoh-landlord-acl-5582877 for the full text. Now I know its not conclusive proof, but It wasn't retracted and they have not sued the CT yet. And its broadly in the same park as Fishers claims on CWR.

With regards making predictions, which can only be speculation or conjecture as none of us know all of the facts or how either party will respond to different situations, I suggest what I predict may happen, you have a different view, that's absolutely fine. But your last paragraph suggest you have double standards. Look in the mirror!
