Only heard part of the CWR phone in but heard one guy say that he had been trying to find out about the Ricoh car parking for this season as he doesn't live locally, and a new company from Uxbridge are handling it this season.
He phoned them up to book and was told it would be £184 for the season which he duly paid for Car Park C. However it was then stated that this does not guarantee you a car parking space and it is a "first come first served" basis.
So if you turn up late (which sometime happens with traffic etc.) you might not be able to get in, even though you have paid your money up front for the season. Crazy!

Its was 'only' £115 last season. Pretty big jump. Don't see how they can get away with not having enough spaces for the tickets they've sold.

That's right, we just booked online match by match last season at a fiver a go. Don't know whether they will be doing the £5 pay on the gate this season.

Was told the same today by the guy who's booked ours sort of thought he may have got that wrong!

Bizarre policy & bound to create big big problems!

No it's £10 on the gate for car park c. I emailed them in the week.

Far too high in my opinion.

The other suggestion is they are going to be very strict on the Ricoh parking and levy the £50 fee at all games.

We shall see and also see if the same restriction applies to wasps.

Plenty of free places to park if you don't mind a five minute walk!

There's not even the option to buy online, its just showing the 2 off site car parks. My grandads 85 and cant walk far, so wont be able to go (already bought a ST) if we cant get in car park a or b. Tried to buy online but no option at all. £8 a game is a fucking disgrace

Actually, surely we can park on the streets if it's a low game? Isn't it 10 or 12k?

Wasps apparently can use Leekes we can't. Our crowds aren't big enough. They don't want us out though.

It's funny. Wasps had sub 10K gates last season. We had up to 17K. You wonder how all this sort of stuff is decided.

I thought the average gates were about 1K different?

Think so, for league games not much in it. They had a couple of very low gates, but a few very big ones too. Just saying I'm sure they had the extra parking facility for the 9000 attendance and we didn't for 17000.

I don't mind spending it where you need to, but this seasons prices take the piss

Last season I just used to book the odd game at park c for a fiver which was spot on I thought but this year I'm just gonna walk 5-10 mins and park for free

Tescos going to be much stricter too. Think they have replaced the number plate recognition cameras and will start using them.

I used to regularly use car pack C and tried to book for Portsmouth game. I emailed the Ricoh and was told that the Ricoh only control crist the King and another I forgot.. Apcoa I think are the new company who control the car parks and it's a £10 flat rate now even car park C.
I brought a season permit for car park A this time as its closer to where I sit (no point walking in the rain further for the same price)
If you used to park at the Ricoh car parks and have a season ticket it's worth buying a season pass or you'll end up paying nearly £100 more over a season with cup games.
I also asked that if I'm late is my spot secured, this completely confused the guy after 5 mins explaining so left it as its rare I'm late. Still have no idea If I've a random car spot or a numbered bay I use every time. Tuesday I will get the gist hopefully of another brain dead confused parking attendant no doubt.

£10 a car on the day.

I use to go every game car park C and pre book and at £5 that's fair and it did a good trade. £10 is just ripping us off.

What price is it for wasps on the day?

I can't even find the prices for wasps anywhere on the net to compare them to ours. Perhaps wasps / Ricoh are a bit embarrassed about their prices

Live in Essex and used to park in CTK, but got fed up getting soaked walking to/from the ground. Moved to Car Park C last season £5 price was ok, but pain getting out after the match. This season not sure what do after reading this thread, £10 is a piss take, so looking for ideas of where to park. I can't use Tescos if thier car park company issue a PCN my car leasing company just pay it and add an admin charge (yes I know PCN's are not enforceable and is just an invoice)

Any recommendations?
