They've got Marianne Faithfull booked to play. Tickets are £100 - £125.

Tickets for the rest of her European tour at £10 - £35.

She is best known for being Jaggers love interest in the 60's. I'm amazed she's still around - he 70's drug taking would have made Ozzy Osbourne a saint.

I assume Dave is joking - I wouldn't watch her if she was in my back garden.

Gigs at football stadia just shouldn't happen....(with the single & unique exception of Live Aid)

....and the Stone Roses can fuck off with their planned money grabbing Ethiad gig too.....lying 2 faced greedy manc twats.....

I saw them when they were young, angry & relevant.....now your just old, sad & greedy.

Sorry about that....just a little bitter.

Echo and the Bunneymen are another "big" draw on the way. Oh and there's even a combined deal to watch this and a wasps game on the same day.

£25 to see the Bunneyman on their own and a combined package to see wasps as well is £10

Buzzcocks are playing that as well. There's a good chance a decent number of their fans will turn up as its a very cheap ticket to see them. Be funny to see the rugby lot and a load of pissed up old punks, see no potential for any problems there.

They must be taking a big hit on that. Both bands charge more than that to see them on their own and there's no way they've dropped their usual fee. Guess they're hoping to make it up at the bar.

Let's hope Italia isn't budgeting on much car parking revenue from these "big" events

Isn't this an evening with rather than a concert? In one of the function rooms with a thee course meal etc rather than a full scale concert in the stadium?

It seems no one wants an evening with (a euphemism for a concert with no fans btw) and there seem very few other alternatives looking at the site. Its desperate.

I was defending Marianne Faithful. These "evenings with" are good value for money from my experience. Been to a few over the years. Sports stars as well as music stars and usually in hotels with a small number of people good meal, chat and the opportunity to meet and speak to the person you've gone to see.

Not a Marianne Faithful fan myself so won't be going but if it was Fish I'm sure you'd be the first in the queue.

That's not what it is, the only thing Marianne Faithful is doing is her regular gig.

Been to some of the evening with type events you're talking about and with the right person they can be fun. Just looked at prices. Gazza and Shearer are both doing those type of events in Leicester. 3 course meal, Q&A, photo op are £65 for Shearer and £100 for Gazza so to me this event would still be overpriced even if it was that type of evening.

Getting a bit bad now isn't it?

Or are you just posting on here on your desktop logged in but reading every other thread about football on your phone logged out?

Does Grendull know that you're stalking me? Sickboy might be relieved but Grendull is probably getting jealous now.

With your original one liners you should do a Night With Tony at the Ricoh.

There are plenty of available dates and it can't sell less than a night with Marianne Faithfull.

You're funny. Did someone have a gun to your head making you click on my username or are you just obsessed with what I'm doing?

I check everybody who signs up and other user posting behavior too. I also check for duplicate accounts.

Especially when people say they only come on to wum and only bother with politics or wasps threads

Tony you are not worth stalking - your attempts at wumming and trolling are as effective as Roy O'Donovan at scoring goals.

It is almost painful to watch

No, I run a forum.

You know it's bad when somebody uses awful attempts at humour as a comeback.
