If and when the club move back to the Ricoh very soon (hopefully) I suppose they put themselves in a point of no return - This would mean i would have thought that they would not be able to go back to Northampton if there was another fall out, and i cannot see the football league sanctioning them a temporary move to another local club on another temporary bases - From a football league point of view they would have to stay at the Ricoh or move to another stadium built by themselves - this could be why it is taking so long to thrash a deal out

The situation could easily repeat. In fact now there is a precedent for it, there are less barriers.
