Snozzer, what sort of publicity? That a bids on t table or that SISU won't talk. We're at t point now where Hoff has to act or shut up until t end of season - January is critical.

Clive Eakin said on cwr that they keep in contact with hoffman and that at the moment there is no offer on the table and that the old offer does not stand. He also said that if he does put a bid in the fans would be the first to know. I doubt there is any reason for Eakin to make up stories

ajsccfc, I can think of better ways of getting listeners for his radio show instead of making up lies about some team that pretty much nobody else cares about. I don't mind Keys and he's a Cov fan which must surely mean he's hoping for the same as us. Of course, what he has said so far hasn't come to fruition, but he did say it wouldn't for a few days. And all he's said here is "sit tight", it's not exactly enlightening stuff!

Ok, first of all like I said, Keys and Hoffman are pals so I would expect them to also keep in contact with each other. Secondly, Keys hasn't even said it's Hoffman he's on about.

Must agree with kg82.
Everyone is assuming it's Hoffman, he may not be the one offering any kind of takeover this time and it could be someone nobody would even think about or know about and it is being done in private, only time will tell.

Bantam does make me smile though I must admit

It's worth it if he gets a handful of extra listeners I'd imagine, he could always back out of it easily if he had too. Bear in mind I don't specifically think this is what he's doing so much as looking at it with my most cynical goggles on.

This 'public after 10 days' thing may paint a better picture of his involvement (if any).

Keys & Hoffman pals? Not so sure they are "pals" but probably do have each others number. I wouldn't expect to hear any news of a bid this side of xmas. It would be a bitter sweet pill to swallow but I would expect that the best outcome we will see is Hoff & co having to work alongside sisu. Just can't see sisu walking away.

Yeah, I know - I'm looking at it very objectively! More than anything though, I really hope something is done, until I hear anything concrete I can't be too optimistic.

Problem is even if there was a bid on the table... a takeover doesn't happen quickly. It can take months to sort out.

It has all come too late I am afraid.

Only hope is that we have someone with CCFC at heart in charge for our L1 campaign.

Am I the only person that thinks a takeover in the summer after relegation would be the best thing?

Spend less to get more in the first season. What would make us a midtable Championship club should win us L1. A successful season brings bigger crowds and optimism around the club helping us be on a sounder financial footing going forward and enabling some of the fan building initiatives that are vital to the long term viability of the club.

I know no one wants relegation, but I honestly think if the aim is to rebuild the entire club (and it has to be) then we stand a better chance in L1

We are ccfc! Nothing ever easy. Don't see sisu scum going. At best Hoff will have to work with them as I see it now. I can see us all having to get behind the club in numbers (season tickets) supporting the team & Hoff but continuing to protest against sisu involvement. Makes me cringe, would love for all those sky blue that 2012 is a better year and we see sisu gone for good.

Hoffman and Keys are close mates. Seen them at the Millwall game last season in the casino before the game.

Keys is saying that he needs to keep quiet in the light of pursued questions? Why, a sensible person may have suggested it would be best for him to not have brought it up in the first place.
