Alright Lads, I'm a Cardiff Fan

Apparently we're making a £800,000 bid for Richard Keogh

How do you rate him ? and how much would you be willing to let him go for ?

He's awful, you don't want him, worst player I've ever seen in a Cov s....
No, I can't talk bad about the great man. Phenomenal player, one of the best defenders we've had since we got relegated, comfortable on the ball and defenders like a soldier, will through himself in front of any shot and then collect the ball, beat his man and start an attack. Personally, I'd want over a million for me, but I'd much rather he stayed.

I think our illustrious owners will take the 800k, and bite your arms off at the same time........Just had a thought...I might make the trip over the mountain to watch Cardiff play next season...why not! you've got more Coventry players than we have lol

As bad as the two other donkeys we managed to off-load onto you Welsh suckers ha ha - just don't come after our star man David "The Rocket" Bell, makes Whittingham look second rate.

Just look at all the end of season awards he picked up, and that should answer your question.

Shouldn't your username be CCFCDragon?

He's not bad I suppose, but we need the money, so probably best not to tell you about the fact that he is blind in one eye.

He's as good at either RB or CB, but started almost every game at CB. And you won't find a CB in the whole of TFL who can dribble past men for fun like Keogh can! The first minute he missed in the past 2 seasons was when he got a red card in the penultimate game of the season just gone. So, you should leave it, he's suspended anyway

Our player of the season just gone by a stretch (not meaning to damn him with faint praise, since we were largely toss and went down). Played all season at centre back, but can do just about as much of a job as right back. Will run all game, can go past players with a change of pace and think about bringing it out of defence, not flash but doesn't waste a lot of possession, gets some crucial blocks and tackles in. He is not invincible and has made mistakes, but our season has been riddled with them all over the park. If he continues in the same vein of form with a better team around him (let's be honest, for all the shouts of 'anyone can beat anyone in the Championship', the table doesn't lie), he would be a good acquisition at something like the price you quoted. Word to the wise, offer half that and our board would probably accept.

Have you a decent spare striker we could swap him for? One that would accept washers as his wage would be even better.

No, he was our best player but he wasn't the best centre half in the championship.

That was probably Ben Turner from what I saw of him in the cup run: colossal. Still, we maximised value with him before selling, didn't we?

He would be a great aquisition for you, and I would hate to see him go. Don't offer 800K for him. The cretinous spivs who own us would accept a bag of chips.

He wasn't even our best centre back.

In all honesty a good solid honest defender. Will run through walls to get the ball, but usually because he's out of position or has given it away. Has the distribution ability of a blind paperboy, but is likeable and gives 100% as well as being comfortable at RB and CB.

As a CB Id rate him behind the likes of Turner, and older too. A decent attacking fullback though.

Anything over half a mill and we've done well.

I've met him in the players lounge,a top bloke, nice to talk to and very down to earth. I'd love him to stay, but he deserves better than league 1. If you get the offer rich go for it cos this club is finished with these wankers in charge.

The fact is though £800,000 is tenfold what was paid for him. He has to go for that money.

yep aslong as it more than we paid for him lets sell him !!!:facepalm: after all he was our best player last season at this rate there will be no players left !! or though thats probably SISU's plans so they do not have to pay any wages in the close season :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

He's been offered a contract. If he rejects it the only sensible business decision is to sell. I like Keogh but that is a lot of money for a player with a year to run on his contract.

If you divorce yourself from the ownership issue and look purely from a business decision you have to say sell. The club has been heavily criticised for letting Westwood run down his contract do what is the difference.

you not think it might be worth the chance keeping him and getting out of this division ??? and if we dont he can go then ?? the only reason he will be sold is nothing to do with contracts its to do with SISU being short sighted like they have been since they have been here, they give long contracts to crap like bell and fook all to the likes of gunna, turner and westwood takes the piss

Turner was on a 4 year contract. Westwood would never have signed a new deal here and though I rated gunnarson a lot of people like him more now he is gone. Keogh has been offered a contract as had Cranie.

To be honest you need to sign this fella called Richard Wood, IMO hes FAR better than Keogh. Would easy slot into your squad. If you're looking for a good wide midfielder that can cross a half decent ball and get loads of assists, you need to look no further than David Bell. Also make sure you buy Deegan as round here hes nick-named "The Pitbull" because hes a fuckin animal!

But please dont sign any of these players otherwise we will be proper fucked next season
