Bit late to this thread!

Was he good?

Saw him a good few years ago now in Sheffield supporting REM, was excellent then.

The Assembly does get more than it's fair share of decent acts on.

Indeed. Fish takes over the place for a weekend. You can even go on a pub crawl with the legend.

Was out on a all-dayer a couple of years ago in the summer when we started having a few drinks with a load of Marillion fans in the Jug and Jester, all dressed in Hawaiian shirts and stuff.

Good bunch, apparently they follow him everywhere.

Not my cup of tea musically, but fair play to him and his fans.

Lord, he was fantastic as he always is. Excellent voice and tremendous guitar playing. He can really play that axe.

The Assembly is a wonderful venue.
