Not sure if already a thread just read this in telegraph.

Highways agency staff have removed ribbons from a motorway bridge as they are a distraction to drivers

Why cant we get the do gooders to join our fight to keep Cov In Coventry.

The carbon footprint of the extra 35 miles the supporters would be traveling under Timmy's regime

when we have a facility in Coventry.

Disctraction to drivers my arse..this country is blighted by health & safety nonsense.

They can be replaced quicker than they can be taken down anyway.

They can remove ribbons from a bridge coz they might be a distraction yet they let companies put up large video screens by the side of motorways to advertise.....feckin joke

seems the highways agency acted after the ribbons were reported to them, surely SISU aren't that petty are they?

Easiest thing to do is say you "heard" that someone said it was SISU who reported the ribbons. Before you know it it'll be a cast iron fact. Everyone's a winner.

Then again the SISU fanboys on here would be just as likely

you don't need to do that, all you do is put FACT in capital letters at the end of the sentence, can't be disputed then!

To be fair the Council did confirm they were not instructing staff to remove any from places in Coventry.
Am sure a few more will appear over the next few weeks.

yes but the motorway bods think its a hazard yet things as shown are the same as the ring road and anywhere on the brum under pass bridges
