Constantly going on about ACL and revenues, yet knowing they will have no long term impact on our club.

Without revenues the club is an unsaleable commodity.

Why are you so keen on sisu to stay?

Lol.
Maybe its like if you say no one turns up to sixfields it won't make any difference ?
If Sisu are given everything for free how do we know they will fuck off like only you say they will ??

But you're defying Grendel's logic. How dare you. He's invented the one and only scenario in the kingdom of his own mind that will give rise to them leaving. And nothing but this sequence of events will work. If you don't fully endorse his view; you hate the club. How can you live with yourself? You are the architect of our demise.

Don't you understand that if you give heroin to an addict, he's more likely to give up? I mean, come on....

im not keen on SISU to stay.

they have stated time and time again they are building a new stadium and also they wont sell at the bottom of the cycle. They are staying until we are on the up, and this will be in a stadium they own and having the revenues.

Then why don't SISU give it away and rid themselves of the problem?

So if SISU said tomorrow the club is for sale, nobody would be interested?

They would as long as an attractive lease on a ground including all revenues was part of the deal. Without that - not a chance.

I suspect some people would be interested (Hoffman maybe) it's just the price tag that Sisu have to stick on the club to get a suitable return for their investors would be so high it would put off bidders. What may now be the case though is that the amount invested is so high (even with the write off I think was mentioned in the JR) that they may never get their investment back if the club is sold for a realistic amount.

I'd give 'em a tenner.

But not convinced I'm the type of character you'd want running the football club...

But KCIC made an offer of £50,000 just recently.. I believe it was a front for interested parties (guess who ) who didn't want to be named, but other than that little game I think it was a serious enough offer.

What you mean is no one has offered a price SISU will accept.. yet.

Even Hoffman and Elliot made guarded statements last time that a lot depending on the type of deal that could be struck with the council.

That we do not know as we do not know the amount of real debt that is associated with club losses. It's a lot less than the purchased debt included in the £70 million - much of it would likely to be purchased at a very low pence per pound rate.

Without revenues no it's unsaleable as it's the most uncompetitive football club in league one with that arrangement excluding the minnows such as Rochdale.

Do you not think that any prospective new owner would be better off buying the club in it's own right and do a deal directly with ACL on their own without SISU? They could then at least get off on the right foot with ACL/Higgs/CCC as apposed to the two wrong feet that SISU have.

How will they know they will get the deal that suits their strategy?

Well, looks like we'll have to beg to differ. I respect your point of view, but someone would come in, of that I have no doubt if the price wasn't extortionate. But as Fisher won't sell, we will never know.

Perhaps they already have? Who knows what talks ACL may have made in the past? Perhaps PH4 already had worked out a solution with ACL? Maybe KCIK's backers had talks with ACL? Just because SISU have made a bed of nails for themselves, doesn't mean nobody else can do a deal.

As apposed to being the most competitive club as we are at the moment?

If you ask me we already are the most uncompetitive club in league one. If SISU's plan was to put off prospective buyers they've gone the right way about it.

It's a novel idea but they could open dialogue with ACL at the same time they're in dialogue with SISU about the sale of the club. Just because SISU struggle to juggle more than one ball at a time it doesn't mean a more professional outfit can't. My wife tells me it's called multi tasking

Yes I think that might have been their plan right from early on. After Ranson's plans didn't get us in the Prem in 3 seasons as Sisu expected they have obviously worked out some strategy by which their systematic destruction of the club actually makes them win out in the end. I can't figure it myself but it is the ONLY answer that arises in the final analysis.

As any deal on rental/revenues would have to be with ACL, that suggests to me that maybe they've had positive talks with the Higgs over their share and are hoping that the council wouldn't veto the sale.
