Is this only a thing with diving? They need to take a serious look at O’nians crunch on Gyokeres at the end that was a potential ankle breaker.

Referee was absolutely pathetic all game, bottled the big decisions, the day was too much for him.

Certainly needs to be some sort of report going in about him.

Didn't think they could if it had been spotted by the ref and addressed at the time by the yellow, but not 100% on all the rule changes for this season.

According to Sky the new rules were "Sunderland can do what they want".

I think that because he got a yellow during the game nothing can be done retrospectively. If the ref had missed it then there could have been retrospective action.

Referee let them get away with it today. They set a precedent by allowing the man handling and time wasting.

Ironically Sunderland have been moaning about other clubs doing that for years.

So much for all these changes in terms of reffing. Their players holding in the box was so blatant it was ridiculous.

It would have been a red in the Prem. VAR would of told the ref to look at it again. He was close to it anyway and bottled it.

Was sat with a couple of Sunderland fans in a bar, even they thought it was a red
