Got to be honest I dont know why he stayed so long. It seems pretty clear that he had no real authority. I would have left a long time ago..... he was carrying an equal share of the risk for no reward and had no real power to affect decisions, especially after JS became hands on.

He was in a very risky position and can still be held accountable if there were any misdoings under his tenure should anything emerge from the financial mess

It is hard not to think of the expression "rats leaving a sinking ship"

When someone genuinely is in the know it's pretty obvious they could jeopardise their own position if they came out and told us all the details before an official announcement.

If CCFC were to go bust with him as a director, it would seriously affect his other business interests.

When a business does a credit check on another business one of the first things thats checked is if the director/s have oversaw another company go bust.
