I have been thinking recently that if we got a larger squad and were able to field a reserve team every week playing in a smaller venue for a lot cheaper than the costs of the Ricoh, would anyone go and watch this?
I think that if it was an evening game, cheap to go and easy to get to I would go a fair bit to watch a mixture of squad/ youth players.
Obviously there would be costs incurred but surely you have to speculate to accumulate and it may encourage more people to head up to the Ricoh on a Saturday.
