No problem - this is not anything to do with pro or anti SISU but pro Cov supporters and the club. Owners will come and go (hopefully soon for current mob) but this is to have life now and after SISU. Just hope theres a club after SISU for us to worry about.

As I am from Dublin, Ireland, there is no hope of me making it, as much as I would like to. Hope there is a good turnout. PUSB

Totally respect what you are trying to do, but given that a majority of fans are "anti-SISU", or at the very least disapprove of their running of the club, by entirely taking them out of the equation, you inevitably kinda neuter yourself. I mean, say some cats form the Cat Alliance, but their original statement included a load of spiel about how their policy on dogs was neutral, it wouldn't help them at all with being chased by them all the darn time...

You can play the "which Chris Martin to hate the most" game! The Norwich guy did some awesome diving for Palace against us last year. I don't have anything against the New Zealand seam-bowling cricketer Chris Martin-indeed I enjoyed watching him play a part in beating the Aussies last year. But Chris Martin from Coldplay probably wins by a landslide, as:

1) Coldplay were a crap student band with no hope of success. Then Steve Lamaq saw a gig, liked them, plugged them endlessly on his week-night nationwide show, and now they are multi-millionaires. They have no talent and do not deserve what has happened to them, which I think Chris Martin "gets", hence his guilty charity urgings.

2) They were only a hit in America (leading to bagging a tidy Hollywood wife) 'cos CNN used "Yellow" as the music on one of their publicity pieces. As their logo is...yellow (geddit?!). Again, huge exposure with no merit to garner it in the first place.

3) He called his kid "Apple". Pretentious c***.

It's probably best summed up by the Family Guy episode where Peter talks about how he had to leave Coldplay due to creative differences, going to a cut-away scene in a recording studio where Peter implores to them, "Guys! Can't we try writing a song that's not whiney bullcrap?!"

NLHWC - I think every sane thinking Cov fan is anti SISU as they have made a complete balls up of running the club but what this is about is not anti-SISU protests etc, we are talking about dealing with the footbal club notwithstanding who the owners are, now or in the future. But assuming we a: have a team to support (possible but not guaranteed) and b: SISU are still owners (probable unfortunately) and non of us have several million to force them out all we can do is make them aware of the customers (SISU speak) feelings towards the product they are attempting to market. Its about improving the match day experience, improving links to community, giving the fans one voice and should the worst happen and SISU do pull the plug, a flag for fans to rally around.

Fair enough. I just can't reconcile myself with the reality of SISU remaining. I really can't take any more of their spin, lies and secretive shenanigans. I think I may be close to just giving up, which I appreciate takes less effort than being positive..I really just can't ever accept that I have to co-operate with those bastards.

The key is to hurt sisu in the pocket, we should wear last seasons shirts as a protest in the way the club is run, boycott this years shirts, after all last season shirts were one of the best for years.time to think about next season 13/14, the key is season ticket holders we all need to get together his season and all refuse to buy a season ticket, then this lack of money could force sisu out and with the money start a challenge to take over the club or put some fans forward on the board. We can't keep Giving our money over blindly.we just need to know what's going on and what is the clubs future. The only problem is the fans are to divided into anti sisu and not. We must all pull together to save the club and get investment in

The Scientist was a good song though. I suppose its the one hit wonder with me akin to SISU finally agreeing to pay MK that season they did.

Its the only way

Unerstand people saying "support the club", but this is short term, not saying never buy another season ticket, just not whilst these guys are in charge

Oh, and obviously you can still go to away games !

OK let me follow this line of reasoning.

Sisu are evil heartless bastards who don't care about the club.

Sisu have set up mechanisms to ensure they do not lose out should the club go bust.

Sisu refuse to put money into the club, therefore forcing it to sell players to pay the bills.

We all agree we need players.

So let's starve the club of money, causing either:

A) Sisu to suddenly turn into generous benefactors funding the increased losses

B) Sisu to wind us up and walk off with any remaining assets and quite possibly by that time the Ricoh

Which do you think more likely?

Oh, and as yet there is no secret option C where a white knight rides in to save the day. If that was on the cards Sisu would have sold already because, as we discussed, Sisu are heartless bastards only interested in money.

The Scientist was bloody awful. But then, I'm a Rainbow, QUo and Deep Purple fan, so I'm unlikely to enjoy any song that Coldplay do.

Yep. All of Rainbow are in wheelchairs, Francis Rossi is half-dead and Deep Purple still sing Smoke on the Water like they mean it.

Omg poor George, zippy and bungow jeffery was always special needs though. puts things into perspective when all we do is worry about a football club. Life can be so cruel

Yes, far too controversial to suggest that maybe 30,000 people in Coventry should support their club and boost its coffers, local employment, and team performance instead of starving it to death.

That'd be madness.

if that was the case i would agree

SISU do not care about the club, they care about profits for their investors

how on earth would filling the ricoh boost peformances, it would just be 30,000 dissapointed at the under 18's being our 1st team squad, whilst lining the coffers of SISU.

I fully support cov and will be at least 15 away games next season, just not giving SISU 1p
