A couple of seasons ago we started with minus ten points yet only just missed the play-offs, so the fact that we have only managed two points so far should not be taken as a pointer for the rest of the season. Bournemouth had an equally bad start in Division One yet stormed to finish top, as did Wigan last season. It's far too early to determine the rest of the season.

Yes I quite agree but my fears are a lot of teams who started bad also went down and/or struggle.

It is too early to tell but in my opinion it doesn't look good. We need to win and quick

Clarke and Wilson upfront, compared to this seasons shower?

You don't have to make it difficult for yourself though with ten point deductions and not signing the players you require until September as we keep saying it will all be in September, 1 I hope they do or we are in trouble 2 next year charge the season ticket from September as we only start trying then

Barnsley were in the relegation zone in November. They won the Playoff Final.

Wilson and Clarke were the sole reason we were half decent that season (up top and not at the back) before the inevitable post Christmas slide kicked in. We then lost Wilson to injury and sold sulky bollocks to the yam yams, replacing them with utter shite. A combination of Pressley's poor judgement and SISU's failure to put their hand in their pockets when it mattered.

Willing to see if this 'wait until September' malarkey that Mogga keeps spouting comes to fruition, but it's becoming more and more frustrating as the weeks go by that we are dropping points to mediocre teams - Bradford aside - which will no doubt have a negative effect on our morale and confidence in the long run. Plus, any signings made in the next couple of weeks will need time to bed in as well as gaining match fitness. Does that mean we won't see the team coming together until October? Injury problems are also beginning to become a worry! Rose, Jones and Stokes being out are leaving us terribly exposed.

True but the only pointer we have to go on is current form, I've only seen the game against Shrews
And wasn't that impressed, I'm sure we will improve though.
I really don't get this policy of strengthening the 1st team throughout August, I also don't understand
How people just accept it, always believed the close season was the time to do your business.

Do you think the other team fear us and think we will be challenging the top 6 this season I don't think so

We are playing well. Look solid (apart from that 10 minute spell yesterday). The new signings espically Turnbull McCann and Ageyi look class and a level above. Stevenson and Harries who have stepped up from the youth team have the potential to go very far in the game. DKE has stepped up and been ok. Mowbray himself has said he wants more players and not to judge them yet. We have no reason to worry. Results aren't going our way but it'll come. Within the next 5 games (after Norwich) we'll give a team a really hiding.

Yea and I remember throughout the preseason that year a lot of people were very, very upset that we were going to start the season with Wilson in our first team.

Glad other teams have lost their fear of us, that's a good thing as it didn't help last season

We'll be fine. Would be surprised if we mount a promotion challenge but would be more surprised if we're in a relegation battle.

Team is coming together, we're signing players on longer deals, a lot of quality young players in the side. You look at how Mowbray is conducting his business and it tells you that this is a longer term strategy, as opposed to last year.

We might to a Barnsley, or we might do a Doncaster.

We might have been good apart from 10 minutes yesterday, but 10 minutes wins games, the same way 2 points over a season can be the difference between playoffs and no playoffs. My fear is that we don't have enough experience in the team.

We'll wait and see.
