Occasionally do drop them down leagues for 'big games'.

Well let's hope its first against second then. Had enough crap refs this year and Sheffield uniteds ref takes the biscuit.

Never like it when we get big name refs.

They often seem to think themselves more important than the teams and like to show whose boss.

prem refs are not so lenient though and more likely to have penalties and red cards - as they ignore the fact that a bad challenge may be due to ability rather than malicious

Yeah they are used to reffing a prem game which is much quicker than in L1 and probably less physical, so lets hope he puts in a decent performance and gives us loads of protection as we spank them 4-0.

Interesting point, look at how many times you see Cole have a word with the ref, I believe thats one area he can be a very good influence...
