Arrived late today in a beautiful white Porsche. Parked up to find my 8 year old and his 9 year old friend sprinting over to say hi. He turned round said hi and shook their hands. Made my lads afternoon. Good man

It's the little things like that which will build and grow our fan base for the future. Good on him. Hope your kid and his friend had a great day.

Always good to hear things like this. Doesn't take much from the players to leave a big impression on the youngsters.

don't think he could have got the car in the short time he has since re signing.
Worth the money as long as he stays fit

Good start arrived late, but good that he spent some time with the youngsters

I arrived early for the Gillingham game and was wondering around the ground before kick off. I was walking past the players car park and he got out of his motor and was walking over to the players entrance when I asked if I could get a photo of us both. Couldn't have been nicer or more obliging to be fair to him.

Whenever I have met players in the past most are really good with their time, if I ever see a player out with his family I just leave them alone and hope most others do as well.

An interview with Reda is up on ccfc.co.uk. Like this quote "Last season was a nightmare but with him in charge, I believe the club can only go forward", think it's fair to say Reda wasn't an SP fan!

Says an awful lot, can't imagine what it was like in the dressing room at times last season.

Love this quote too;

Spot the error....

Something along the lines of 'keep it up lads, I can't ask anymore from you' despite being 2-0 down at HT or 'I can't fault your effort and commitment' or 'You will never play for this club ever again......but bring your boots next week as you'll be needed for when I have to go back on my word'

why are we talking about this like somebody has just met the queen. He's a league 1 footballer, i don't know what's more embarrassing, the fact that you're all buzzing off him saying hello to you or the fact you walked up to him and asked for a photo in the first place (not referring to the kids obviously)

He won numerous awards whilst at Sheff Wed for his work in the community, I understand he used to visit the childrens hospital on a weekly basis, seems like a genuinely nice guy and hopefully with a manger that he wants to work for and respects we should see the best of him

Our season changed with his sending off at Scunny last season in my opinion and the following weeks which I cant imagine SP handled very well on a 1 to 1 basis with Reda

Do you know that feeling you get as a kid when you see players playing in the Sky Blue shirt and you're thankful if you ever meet them. Well that can run through your adult years as well...Reda was great for us last season when he played. So I didn't have any hesitation in asking him for a photo. I wasn't 'buzzing' as you put it, just nice to have a photo with one of our best players of last season.

Lighten up you miserable sh*t.
