Elliot Ward won me £250 against Norwich once away (first goal for the club I believe) the bloke in front of me had the same bet and was collecting 5 grand. Turned out to be Elliot Wards Dad, lovely chap
I used to bet on Stern John to score a hatrick at every home game. He scored twice and then we were awarded a penalty. I was jumping around like an idiot waving the betting slip. .....Sheffers took it. I was gutted to say the least. At least we won,which was far more important than getting money off the bookie.
I have only read good things about Reda, it's just whether he keeps fit. I think he could get 5-10 goals this year which would help. Would love a win on opening day.
Apparently he played mostly at left back at Wednesday.
I think we've made a couple of very good signings in Johnson and Tudgay. The others I don't know well enough to pass comment. Looking forward to Saturday though whatever our current situation is.
