Don't forget the scan, Otis. It seems that a scan is necessary for any injury, including broken fingernails.

There was definitely a scan of his Dom Perignon champagne as it went through the Waitrose till last week.

I've heard the result of the scan was £112.56.

A bit cheaper than Michael Mcindoes then. Albeit he used other peoples cash.

All very funny, but I say he stays injury free and play the remaining 8 games.

We need that..just to assess him properly. If he can't string 8 games together he has to go on our budget.

To be fair though if he wasn't so injury prone he wouldn't be here anyway.

Unfortunately even if he plays all 8 he will still probably have to go purely based on his injury record over the last few years, we need to learn our lesson from the likes of mcpake, deegan, bell, EIC

Problem is, he hasn't managed 40+ league games in the last 6 years/ his entire english league career

14/15 - 15 league games (40%), 8 to play
13/14 - 20 league games (43%)
12/13 - 16 league games ( 33%)
11/12 - 24 league games (52%)
10/11 - 33 league games (71%)
09/10 - 25 league games (54%)

Not the sort of player we should be relying on

i agree, but if he gave 8 committed and influential performances would you be tempted? I might, and to be honest he has never convinced me, especially as a centre half.

He is undoubtably a huge influence, but even if he plays in all 8 games, is 23 league games a season good enough, especially when you consider at his career stats? I've not been convinced with him at centre half in 4, wasn't too bad on 352. He was pretty effective at left back though.

For me, with little money we have, it's too much of a gamble.

I think he is vital to for our relegation fight, Waggott won't be bringing anybody else to help the cause so we should keep our fingers crossed he stays fit.

If his vital to our relegation fight I think we should all be worried.

Do any of us honestly believe he will stay fit for 8 matches in a row?

If we don't bring in another centre back we need to look at the other end of the pitch and aim to score more goals. If we keep shipping goals in, then we need to be scoring more than we are shipping. Bleedin obvious for sure, but this defence we have here is always going to be letting in goals left, right and centre I fear.

Probably correct, but it looks to me if we are going into the run in with that defence plus Webster and Johnson and not even a back up goalkeeper and that's assuming Burge is good enough. I suppose the squad was good enough to win 2 away games on the bounce so here's hoping but to me v Doncaster second half we looked weak and yes defeat looked to be down to 3 mistakes but I think we were simply muscled out of it.

Yep. It was indeed 3 individual errors, but even still, we were on the back foot that second half and created zilch going forwards. A big worry when we are on the back foot like that for long periods at home.

Goes in for a sliding tackle in the 17th minute, and disappears under the pitch like a puppy under a duvet cover, never to be seen again.

In the 87th minute Nouble is clean through on goal to score the winner, but falls over a mysteriously large, wriggling bump that has appeared near the penalty spot.

When Reda is finally found a week later, with the use of a centre-half divining rod and a JCB, it turns out that he's pulled his bootlace and requires another month off.

He's playing for the U21s today. Can he get through it without picking up an injury?

Ooh, err .... I see we are now down to 6 matches.

If we carry on bringing him back in this gently he might just manage the last 6 mins at Crawley on the last day of the season.

Is there anything to suggest Reda will play again this season? Why play when you can get paid for sitting at home ?

Last half a game. Not fit, resting for Monday, or picked up another injury? Anyone's guess.........
