Chelsea had to wear our kit in 1997 because their kit clashed Great game we won 3-1 and LEboeuf who was to win the world cup with France the following summer disrespected the shirt at the end of the game stamping on it or throwing it on the pitch

Altho the opening notes on the vid state "Chelsea unable to play in their normal away kit", I think the real reason they had to borrow our change shirts was because they turned up with only their home strip!

I didn't think he spat on it - just threw it to the floor?
Apparently he got the idea from some of our season ticket holding supporters who had an end of season ritual.

Yes saw that on the clip - open football with that team - apart from the cloggers there are some parts of today’s play that are similar- just lacking a 6’6 striker

It did happen, it was right in front of me and iv'e hated them Scum ever since. Lucky that it was in front of Cov fans, other teams supporters would have kicked off. I know I wanted to kick his head in for the disrespect but let's face it he is a athlete and well looked after, I was a 9 stone wimp so decided better. I'm heavier now, not sure that's such a good thing lol.
