MR has to sell but gets money to spend and has been able to stamp his authority throughout the club, he seemingly gets whatever he wants, no other manager would have been given £750k to buy a striker no matter what their incomings. I agree it seems to be understated by some re.our performance this season, we lost just three one of them Tranmere a freak result in my opinion, had the season carried on I believe we would have won the league by double figure points, better than others have done in the recent past. We have a good way of playing, some very good players and will add better ones, I’m confident we’ll do okay.Exactly this!!
I honestly believe we can do very well next season, I keep saying we are better than we think,
and we are better than even the players believed ‘Until they cottoned On.
There are Many reasons why ‘ but basically This team /squad is worth far more than ‘the sum

It wasn't really, it had a few very talented players but lots of dross. The quality all round in the current team is higher even if there aren't necessarily players of the same talent.

Think he learnt a lot about League 1 in his time here. People slate Russell Slade for the job he did but he had to try something because the squad he inherited was absolutely abysmal. Mowbray had my respect for resigning after ten games though. He knew he failed us that season.That January transfer window broke Mowbray. We were just a totally different team after Christmas. Though he himself said that’s a problem with his teams so maybe it was always going to happen.
Got a lot of time for Mowbray, played some lovely stuff and easily the second best manager we’ve had since coming down from the Championship, decent bloke too.
