It wasn't me who said this it was my dad. I just thought I would post this and see what everyboby else thinks. I think this could be a bad idea. E.g Cardiff city rebrand to red.

Why yellow?

Not part of our history at all.

Blue, sky blue, white.

Well the civic colours are red and green.
We were famous during the ribbon industry 100 odd years ago for producing a coventry blue.
Only jimmy hill change the kit to sky blue.

Except we had our first Sky Blue kit in 1889, and the majority of kits from then until the 1920's had at least some sky blue in them.

I've always been a fan of that one myself!

Also don't mind the Red and Green one! Maybe as next years away kit perhaps?

Could next years home top be a mixture of Yellow and Sky Blue?

without reading all the replies, I imagine your Dad is referring to our away form this season. Although I believe we should remain Sky Blue, the away kit this season is immense and should be kept for the foreseeable future.

Actually I quite like thought of the yellow in the away kit...vertical striped with sky blue...& sky blue shorts. That would be a. Quite striking b. unique (I think) & c. Mean we could play home & away in the same kit - consistency!!! Hmm...

Comments like this also demonstrate a lack of emotional intelligence...I guess you are still learning as well.

I like the yellow and blue kit. If we rebranded to those colours I would not be disappointed.

Plus we may get a different song to sing. Play up yellows,

Yellow is good as an away shirt, but for home colours I like something that has a link to the city.

Sam made a mistake, you know, the thing that all humans are prone to do.

Sam's also new to the forum and your not making a very good impression!
