Been happening for a while and I just put it down to my phone but if I make an image in DALL-E in ChatGPT and try and upload it here it uploads as an empty image I can’t insert. If I copy and paste it it pastes then disappears. If I screenshot it and try and post the screenshot same thing.
This is on iOS Safari. Not a huge issue as it’s always some stupid joke I’m doing but curious if there’s a reason for it.

Yeah works fine with any other screenshot which is what’s really twisting my melon. They’re PNGs. The screenshots are all jpeg tho. See screenshot attached. First is the ChatGPT image downloaded. Second is a random screenshot. Third is a screenshot of the GPT image.
I’m used to webps from Google Images not working. And just get around it by screenshotting the page. This only happens with images made in ChatGPT it’s so strange.
I’m leaning towards it being some weird ChatGPT app DRM or something which makes no sense but I really can’t understand why I can screenshot everything but that. As I say more of a technical curiosity than an actual problem.
Only sort of related but just had the can’t upload thing with a gif. I dropped the frame rate and then it posted. Is there any documentation of what is and isn’t accepted?

I’m trying to upload a photo of a programme on the Denis Law page and it fails. The message says oops we ran into some problems is there any way round this?

Summarising what nicks said: make sure it’s a png or jpg/jpeg file extension and you might have to reduce the size or quality of the image to get it under the file size limitations.
