I really like their style of football, their philosophy when purchasing players and their emphasis on thanking the fans. So yeah I think I'm with you on that one! only down side is i'm surrounded by Leicester fans where I live so wont hear the last of it if they do!

Part of me actually wants them to win it. With the way how this season's going I wouldn't bet against Spurs or Liverpool winning it though. You never know what may happen in January. Can see one of those two breaking the bank for a huge name as that's probably the difference between them winning the league and not. Götze and Klopp reunited? Cristiano playing at the Lane?! Looks like he's leaving in the Summer for the PL anyway and stranger things have happened.

I've never had a problem with Leicester so I hope they do win and break the stranglehold of the Big Five (or how many there are).

I didn't want them to go down last season for a similar reason. If they had it would mean all 3 of the promoted teams would've dropped. If that happened 2/3 years running questions would start being asked about promotion and relegation.

Could soon be the big three if the teams in european competitions don't get their fingers out, I can't see anybody apart from Arsenal or Man City winning it.

Anything that breaks up the monotony of the same handful of teams winning everything is good with me.

The annoying part is, as with Southampton, chances are they will lose their top players and manager at the end of the season to teams that haven't performed much better than them.

No way, got a treble near the beginning of the season on Arsenal,Mboro and City to win their respective leagues.

If had had Leicester instead of Arsenal might have been thinking of retiring at the end of the season though

Arsenal or Man City will probably fill the top two places, however it'd be nice to see two or three less fashionable teams like Leicester, Palace, Stoke, Watford or anyone else making a dash for European spots. Any change in the Premiership monopolization is good; it brings back a refreshing sense of unpredictability that the Premiership has lacked for so long.

Never been a big fan of Leicester but I like to see any, shall we say "ordinary club", doing well. Southampton did well last year and I was chuffed for them, so yeah, I hope Leicester do it this season. It will just show the so called "big" clubs that there are other teams in the league! Oh, and to see Chelsea struggling......... tee hee!

Given any of those options i would take Stoke as they have built well, as I hate Alan Pardew, have no time for our six fingered neighbours and think the ownership at Watford is a bit iffy.

Would like to see someone like Leicester win it but if this was Southampton or Palace I would have the same thoughts. Anything to stop the the usual suspects but also the fact that they have spent next to nothing and got great results.

Last season, i was gutted they didnt get relegated but wanted Villa to go down more!

It would make me happier to see Villa dropping.

But if someone can break the Chelsea/Manure/ManShitty axis I'm for that too.

Now if Chelsea dropped there would be dancing in the streets.

Just might wake a few up like Richard Scudamore and the Big 4, emphasising you can't buy your way to success. Cmon you Foxes!

I'd be happy with anyone breaking the top 4-5 to win the title - Leicester will dip off though so I expect Arsenal or Man city to win the title.

Sort of.

I'd like it to go down to the last match of the season and them only needing a point to clinch the Premier League title.

Then at 0-0 and it in the 98th minute, with the fans all poised to burst onto the pitch in jubilation, a clearance by Huth whacks straight into the ref retreating to the half way line and the ball bounces off the ref's arse cheek and goes straight over Schmeichel's head so they lose 1-0.

So yeah, I sort of want them to win the league.

NO!!!! Living in Hinckley, I would never hear the end of it, place is swarming with Foxes fans!! That said, I have a grudging respect for the way they are playing and for the supporters getting right behind them. I would say they are certainties for a Champions League place but please....not Champions!

I reckon they will slow down once they reach 40 points, if they really go for it they could do something special. The Leicester owner isn't afraid to splash the cash, pump in 30 million for transfers in January and if they spend it wisely and players keep the right attitude they could realistically challenge.

Can't see it though, I think once they hit 40 points some players will think job done and ease up.

LET THIS THREAD BE A LESSON TO YOU ALL!
Never leave your tablet at work while you are on the road.
Mind you this is not the worst thing they did!
They changed my FB profile with a Villa badge
Got to laugh though

Don't have a soft spot in the slightest, but would be the best thing to happen since the Premier League started if a 'smaller' club broke the monopoly.

So yep, through gritted teeth(!) am hoping they beat the other lot. Never liked Chelsea anyway they're just a small club, sold us their strikers...

I have never liked Leicester since my mate was beaten up by a Leicester thug in an unprovoked attack outside the Barras chippy after we had beaten them 4-2 at Highfield Road, however it would be funny if they did win the title and Villa went down

I have a soft spot for Leicester....... A swamp!
Have almost all of you lost the art of local rivalry?
Don't care about big 4 domination, doesn't affect me in the slightest. Leicester winning the Prem does.

Would love if they can qualify for Europe. I doubt they will stay the course and win the league though. I think it will be Man U or Man C.

Blackburn won it in 95 as a "small club".....I know they flashed the cash, but Leicester haven't been shy with their foreign cash either.....NET spend of over £20m in the last window alone....more than Arsenal, Everton, spurs, Liverpool, Villa etc....

As stated in a previous Leicester thread, the only way I'd like to see them finish top is if they then immediately get docked points for some financial shenanigans....

....anyway....fuck Leicester & fuck the Premier league

Robbie Earle has told them to sign Adebyor to help them get into the top four, good luck with that more likely to get you into the bottom four.

The run continues... extraordinary.

I really struggle to understand how any football fan can honestly want Leicester to lose out on the title in favour of the same old Arsenals, Manchester United/City's etc. Put the manufactured rivalry aside and understand the scale of what Leicester have achieved/can achieve this season.

Part of the reason I want them to do it is Jamie Vardy. Obviously had his fair share of bad press in the past, but seems like a genuine bloke who has done it the hard way. Playing non-league barely 5 years ago to record-breaking Premier League top goalscorer. Incredible

Which ever way you look at it, Ranieri has got Leicester playing above and beyond their level. It really is extraordinary, as you said.

As long as someone breaks the monopoly of the top 5, I'll be happily refreshed.
