I was thinking about this the other day, it's a really hard one to call in today's market. But surely if we carry on like this some of the player's value could go through the roof.

Dabo for £2.5m seems like a snip though. I hope he never leaves, but if he does I'd want more than that.

Think you’ve overvalued some fringe players in todays market, no cash in the lower leagues to take them. Think you’ve undervalued a few as well.

I’d add Kane at a few hundred thousand at least. And obviously Bright, who is worth nothing or millions depending who you ask.

Id say vik is closer to 7/8/9 Mill right now .

You could argue its his proper breakthrough season at a decent level and I'd imagine clubs would want to wait to see if he can hit 20 ( he more than likely will ) before shelling out more.

23 , still young

If he gets 25 goals then it's basically printing money at that point

Could easily demand a fee closer to 20 million depending on the level of the teams interested

Our recruitment overall has been exceptional when you consider potential players value right now

Would definitely say it's too early to put Vik at £15m.

If he's at 15 goals when January comes round I'd value him at £8-10m. If we make it to July and he's finished the season on 22+ then it's £15m+.

Sheff Utd spunked £17.5m on Oli McBurnie after a 22-goal season and Southampton spent £15m on Che Adams after scoring 22.

If we use Ollie Watkins as a gauge of some sort .. he scored 10 goals in over 40 games at 22 in the championship, the then following season 10 in over 40 at 23 , the same age as vik .

The season after he scored 25 goals and Villa came in and spent 28 million rising to 33 million , clubs generally pay more for English players for some reason .. so it's not inconceivable that vik could be worth 20 million if he hits 16 more goals this season

Rose is worth more than £500k - but as others have mooted, it depends on who the buyers are. If PL teams and those in receipt of parachute payments are interested in a player, then the value will be in a different bracket (especially if more than one team are in the mix)

Vic is worth no more than £2-3 million at present.
He has had an amazing start but that’s all it is.
if he finishes on 20 goals + you could maybe argue £5-6 million.

For me Sheaf is worth more than 1.5 to us at the moment, and we’d be mad to let him go at that price. He’s got so much potential, couple of solid seasons and a few more 70yd fizzed passes and he’s a real asset. Needs to show it over a season or two, but if he lives up to his potential…

How about his international call-up?

10m? 15m? If he gets selected to play and scores his profile will only rise. Strikers who score for fun will always be in demand.

We should enjoy him whilst we have him unless we can manage one more promotion. Then we could afford to keep him.

O'Hare is not worth 8-9 million. He doesn't have enough end product at this moment to be worth anywhere near that. He could be worth that much and more should he start to score and assist on a more regular basis. But at this moment the reality is he isn't in today's market.

He’s worth what you can convince someone to pay and with silly PL money around who knows. If he just scores a few goals then that kind of money isn’t unrealistic
