Just been a very wasteful afternoon all round, so annoying. Apart from the defensive mistakes Armfield had a golden chance to make it 2-0 but went for an audacious chip and we squandered so many good positions with poor final balls. Young Kent guilty too many times of hanging on to the ball too long or trying for difficult passes. BUT we didn't lose and Didn't lose for. I'm

In fairness to Armstrong the ball just got stuck under his feet slightly and so he couldn't get his shot away properly, so then he had no choice really but to go for the chip.

where the fuck have I turned on The players you moron.
Ive said in my post what a dream of a season we are having but I said Cook should have put his foot through the back pass. That's all nothing else, so if you think that's turning on the players your're a bigger clueless twat than I thought you were.

get off your high horse and allow posters to have a view on a isolated incident without thinking they are turning on the team
you make yourself look more idiotic the more you post

He will go away and sulk now CCFC, he abuses everyone who disagrees with him.

With any goalkeeper we have they have 2 choices....roll the. Ball out and play football or big high kick up to the 5"4 adam amrstrong and watch it come straight back. I know what i would prefer him to do.

Shut up you senile twat

Nothing wrong with being over 50. My wife is 50 next year although she doesn't look it or act it. Just over 2 years for me to hit the milestone. I have never acted my age and never will. My head tells me I am still in my early 20's. My body begs to differ. But where you lack in being able to do what you want you make up for in experience. The youngsters just don't understand.

Went training last week for the first time in ages. This cocky lad started taking the piss. Took it even more when I said how old I am. He couldn't stop laughing when I told him I would put him on his arse if we got in the ring. About 10 minutes later his trainer came over. Shit. Did I want a couple of rounds with him Couldn't back down. I was blowing out of my arse after a couple of minutes. He thought he was Ali. But he showed me his chin. He went down. He jumped straight up swearing at me. He came flying at me. So I knocked him down again. He didn't jump up this time The trainer called it a day.

The lad came over later and was very apologetic. Thanked me for teaching him a lesson and not being cocky with it. But boy I wanted to. And I learned that I am not as young as I think I am. It is nearly time to join the geriatrics.

The moral of the story is that we may not have youth on our side but experience more than makes up for it. We have had many seasons of football. We have seen players come and go. We have seen players have good days and bad. If they were all good they would be at a big club. You shouldn't have a go at a player for the occasional bad moment or bad game. Fleck and RCC have been very good this season. We are still unbeaten in the league since September. Our next game is in December. FFS take note from us oldies. This doesn't happen very often. Enjoy it while it lasts. If we don't lose our next game we will have gone over a quarter of the season without a defeat. Yet some are still looking to moan.

Mellow out and enjoy the ride. How many expected this season to go the way it has so far?

PUSB.

Best thing about rcc is his ability to deal with crosses. Watch match of the day when they look at schmeical and his decision with 2 different corners

For me burge not as bad as some say and RCC not as good as others would have us believe. 2 goalkeepers that are still learning their trade. Both good neither exceptional

Nail it mate, just can't see why some on here attack a city player (Burge) even when not playing. For keepers they are both young and will get better, eventually finding their level. Everybody should take a deep breath and let them continue their education in the art of keeping.

Have you ever said that a certain player isn't good enough? Do you count that as attacking a player when you do it?

Burge had a run in the first team. If he was good enough he would have kept his place. He didn't lose his place because of injury. RCC came in and we are undefeated in the league since September. Is it a coincidence?

For me RCC is the better option but for some reason I do get nervous when he is in goal as he is prone to make some howlers but I think he can get that out of his game through time.

Burge went out and RCC came in and immediately the defence looked so much more solid. Charles-Cook has been getting plaudits and there's been hints other clubs have begun to show an interest in him.

Has any of that happened for Burge?

I don't think Burge is that bad, but the difference between the two has been clearly palpable.

It was like when some were making excuses for SP. At least he brought players in and with TM we were close to the start of the season without a team or squad. But it took time for some to see that SP was poor. And it took time to see how good TM is and to have faith in him.

RCC is confident, maybe too confident sometimes, hence the sporadic howlers...Burge, it seems, is a decent shot-stopper but fails to measure up with his positioning, catching and decision-making.

RCC is still the superior keeper, TM clearly has faith in his ability or he'd have loaned a keeper in.
