Great post-match interview w Ricketts on SBW (although camerawork leaves a lot to be desired). Ricketts is asked abt RCC's confidence and just laughs. He then says RCC introduced himself to Ricketts with the phrase "I'm the vice captain"

RCC is a real find a bonus. Never knocked Leigh Burge unlike a lot of the usual keyboard bullies on here. Didn't think Burge was the long term answer to our goalkeeping situation and buying a goalie is normally expensive fee and wage wise, his quick distribution is invaluable. Seems the."we should replace Oggy" fraternity are a bit quiet now.

So saying that a player isn't good enough is being a bully?

The way some on here were seemingly almost demented about Burge being in the team yes, Despite Burge having a decent number of clean sheets were constantly on his case, wanting Oggy sacked and seemed almost please ad if Burge let one in. In fact I wait with interest RCCs first cock up when distributing for the plebs to reappear on here.

I was one of the first to be vocal about Burge. And I gave my reasons why. And I stick by everything I said. And in RCC we have everything in a GK that I said we needed. Mainly confidence and the ability to catch the ball.

Or are you saying I was wrong and Burge should be in the first team?

And have you ever said that a player isn't good enough and that he needs to be replaced? Double standards if you have. And you are willing to accept dross if you haven't.

You sound like the Gestapo.

Don't need to check for me. I was all for a clean sweep when TM took over, so yep, that included Oggy.

One thing someone is going to have to tell him is not to keep thinking he is an outfield player.
Having conceded the second goal he sold Ricketts a total hospital pass. Today the team looked arrogant and it's not good enough to be arrogant.

Made a great save first half, absolute shocker second half.

He's a young lad who will have an off day, not his fault that people have overhyped him. Though agree with Grendel on the arrogance point. Today was a good leveller

A worse performance today than any of Burges this season.

Imagine how many Lee Burge threads there would be on here if he had dropped it for a goal!!

Said from the moment he came in his messing about at the back would cost us eventually and I was just shouted down.

He's infinitely more talented than Burge but has to get rid of the bad habits if he is to go higher than L1 in his career.

How can it be when he was at fault for a goal and Burge wasn't?

I prefer RCC and he deserves his spot in the team but the criticism of Burge is unfair.

So RCC fumbled one so what, the mistake that led to their first goal came from elsewhere first, might have been John Fleck again couldn't tell for definite, the second was definitely down to RCC he should have known Fleck would goof and dived full length Yashin style and tipped the ball round the post, but really lets blame Oggy after all it wet and rainy could have had a word with the Almighty.

RCC had a poor game today, but Burge gives the back four the jitters and RCC is a lot more assured and confident.

Thats very true but people slated Burge for the regularity of the blunders. It seemed to be the same type of mistakes, hence people groaned about Burge not learning and Oggy being as much responsible too (the training).

Cook's had a bad game, but I think hes' the best we can utilise at the moment, lets see how he reacts to this. We lost the game because of a mistake from Fleck too.

Once either of these start screwing up on a regular basis and earn boo's from the crowd when the tannoy announces they are in the starting 11, we can start googling firing squads.

Please tell me you're not being serious!

Not only should RCC be a goalkeeper, he should also be a mindreader too. Brilliant!

You want to be careful. You could be labelled a Charles-Cook bully/hater/merchant.

Fleck has been a lot better this season but still plays toi many blind round the corner passes. Definitely his fault for the second

The regularity of the blunders and the indecisiveness is the major difference.
