We haven't lost a game at all over 90 minutes. Still we should never have criticised Burge such a young keeper.

I'm so glad we signed him up on a decent contract. Fills me with confidence when he's in goal, gloves like flypaper

Tell me about it. Annoying as fuck.

Chats shit about reda and biggie. Gets banged(vardyism). Tries to twist it in fis favour rather than just admit he got something wrong

He's boring

Sounds like he weathered the Bearpit atmosphere extremely well.
Not bashing here but I doubt very much Burge would have coped.

Flicking through their forum this morning they seemed to be raving about him.

Just needs to chill out on taking on the oppo with the ball at his feet party trick & he'll be a star!

His rise is probably my player highlight of the season so far.

Great post-match interview w Ricketts on SBW (although camerawork leaves a lot to be desired). Ricketts is asked abt RCC's confidence and just laughs. He then says RCC introduced himself to Ricketts with the phrase "I'm the vice captain"

RCC didn't have a lot to do. But everything he did do was spot on. He caught every high ball in our area even when he was crowded by players and ran out of his goal to get each long ball they put in over the top of our defence. But personally the best one was when they put a ball in to a player running in unmarked a couple of yards past the far post. He dived at full stretch to palm it out for a throw. Most GK's if not all would have stayed in their goal.

I am now starting to be at ease with the way he plays. Unorthodox for a GK but it works well

I like how he's actively looking for a pass when he has the ball rather than the usual 'wave everyone away and lump it to fuck'. He has the odd Higuita moment that gives me a fright but that'll iron out with experience and he hasn't been caught out yet thankfully.

Agree totally. At times I'm willing him not to dwell on the ball. At others I'm applauding him for immediately turning possession into attack. I particularly like the understanding with fleck who always tries to give him a quick throw or pass option.
I think his play will set up a lot of counter attacks but we will occasionally have to deal with a poor pass out or getting caught with ball at his feet and perhaps a goal against

I wouldn't listen to some Cov fans. Last night, we're away from home with a clean sheet in the last few minutes, keeping possession comfortably. Yet behind me, some mong keeps shouting "GET IT FORWARD" "FORWARD"

He played well but wouldn't say he was man of the match. Only had a couple of saves to make. Caught the ball well from crosses as he normally does. Maybe his level of performance is that high now that it just seems an average day for him. Great prospect who will play at a higher level be it with us or someone else.
