A bit of speculation on the Coventry City Fans Forum on Social Media that has suggested we have a Right Back on trial, can't say I have heard much about this?

We need an experienced central/defensive midfielder first!

Allegedly a RB, Willis played there Saturday and Clarke and Phillips have also played in that role..

If we're looking at a RB, that suggests 4-4-2 might becoming more regular then.

I remember Presso saying he preferred Jordan Willis as a CB, so you might not be far wrong there bud.

Would maybe give a reason for why Jordan Clarke's been dropped lately. New RB in to challenge Phillips/JC on his way out? Reckon he has pissed Pressley off? No explanation for him being left out but playing for the U21s.

I would suggest a new Keeper is top of the list.

Greg Halford was mentioned by the same person who told me about WASPS / Ricoh a few months back.

No chance. He'd walk straight into the majority of championship teams first 11.

the explanation for why Clarke isn't playing is simple, he's fuckin shite, been saying it for ages and his body language against Bristol City was all wrong. he'll be off in January if some poor sod wants him.

A tad unfair to JC...I would say he is error prone...but when he is on his game I feel his attitude & body language is better than a few others I could mention.

Tudgay has been woeful..and IMO his effort has been appalling...but his errors are simply not seen as so serious as hes a forward (Or so it says on the team sheet...he he)

You and I sing off the same hymn sheet Ruffian. Cannot stand and never have been able to stand Jordan Clarke. Should've been left to rot in the bomb squad at the beginning of last season. Had there been another centre half at the club there would've been no way back for him. He was culpable for 2 goals against Bristol in his 1st game at centre half this season. Last season he was at fault for in excess of 20 odd. It makes me laugh how the telegraph claim he was 'outstanding' last season whilst he was part of the leakiest defence in the league. Hopefully there is no way back for him this time!

Pleased with Phillips, Willis and Haynes. Real talent from the academy who have a bright future in the game..probably won't be with us unfortunately

I've defended Clarke a lot over the past few years, sadly I don't think it's ever going to work for him at Cov. Shame as I think theres a decent player somewhere in there, he suffers from Barton syndrome.

Maybe, it would indicate to me that SP see's a future for Jordan Willis at RB, that leaves us with two potential RB's in the squad.

Good to see Aaron Martin coming back, I liked Martin when he played for us..

JW is never a right back, maybe a last ditch option but not as first or second choice, AP then sure I like him but JW is a quality centre back and keep it that way.

I agree. You therefore have to think that this right back rumour does have some truth to it.

Throw Dion Kelly-Evans in as cover, Why not? The kid is having am excellent season and I'd rather give him the chance then a kid from the Premier League or Championship..

I'm the same and defended him on many an occasion too. He has been very poor this season though. There's a decent player in their somewhere but his performances always seem to be rather error riddled.
