Available now as a free agent -could he be an answer to our midfield crisis just until the end of the season??

Ex-Blues loanee Morrison is linked with return to Championship

Birmingham City had Ravel Morrison for the 2012-13 season and he was then invited on trial in 2017 before leaving for the MLS

Not worth it. He was bad for DC United and they dropped him. Hasn't played in over a year.

Plus, he just was convicted of using a dead person's handicap pass.

He’s an attacking midfielder who plays centrally isn’t he? Wouldn’t really help us even if he was decent.

No. Seems like a sh*tbag of a human being and he's had about 10 good games in his career. Hard pass from me.

I'd rather sign Clinton or Van.

At least with Van you might get Sunny Side Of The Street?

If you actually want an out-of-contract ex-MLS player for the stretch run. Jack Price would be your call. Back home in Shrewsbury and plays the #6 / #8. Coming off a knee injury though and would need a few weeks to get match fitness up enough to play a sub role.

Having decided not to buy or loan in anyone other than Torp in January, it really would not make any sense now to scrape the very bottom of the barrel. Players out of contract outside of transfer windows are not a market we should ever be looking in. Only exception might be if all our keepers got injured.

Suspect we should have brought a couple of loans like Kieffer Moore and a winger in in January but that can't be rectified until the summer.

Yep I seriously hope those days have passed.

Have we ever had a successful free out of contract player join after January

Ah yeah he was great for us, had it in my mind he was a loan but it was 6 month deal.

Wise had a bit of a different level of drive and work ethic than Ravel has shown in his career so far though

Bizarre career, Lost count the amount of “second chances” he’s had based on a decent youth career.

Basically, if one of the greatest managers of all time (a man world renowned for being a hard disciplinarian) couldn’t get you to grow up and realise your potential at the biggest club in the world, the chances are no one will get a tune out of you at any club, especially now he’s the wrong side of 30 and wasn’t considered up to the level of the MLS
