Burge 7 - improving and generally made the right decisions. Seems to have bulked up which helps him coming for crosses
Turnbull 6 - did OK
Willis 5 - can't really forgive the basic error for the goal. Needs to be a bit less frantic at times
Harries 5 - really struggled and distribution not great either
Page 6 - got forward well at times and kept going
Sterry 6 - as above, wasteful shooting mind
Stevenson 6 - poor first half better second
Bigi 7 (MoM) - our main driving force I thought, worked very hard
Reid 6 - for every bit of good work there is something awful, worked hard though in fairness
Sordell 6 - not at this best but kept going
Agyei 4 - useless, no movement, no strength, no point

Subs
Jones and Lameiras 6 - both looked good but can't score higher than 6 due to the ridiculous short corner debacle!
McBean 6,- hard to rate but does the hold up role better than Agyei (saying that my missus could)

Venus 5 - another poor first half. Needs to be proactive. The 3-5-2 system didn't work. Agyei doesn't work.

In two minds about whether Jones / Lameiras would have the same impact from the start but Agyei cannot play again

I will preface this with the fact I've not been to the last 3 games, but I don't think Lameiras is a player who can come off the bench and get straight into the flow of a game. I'd much rather he started. Want to see him as part of a 4-3-3 with Sordell central and Reid on the left. Still majorly need central midfield cover for when one of Rose/Bigi/Stevenson are absent though.

I'd agree with that FP aside from Bigi. He tried last night but things just didn't seem to work for him. Yes he was probably still our best outfield player mind you.

What summed up his night was a spell where we had two successive corners followed by a free kick in the second half. He won us two of those dead ball situations due to his work rate but all three balls into the box went to Jay Spearing who headed away or cleared each time from exactly the same position. Spearing is four foot nothing. Granted this also sums up our forwards too but each time their team could see where it was going before Bigi had swung his boot.

Bigi has never been able to take set pieces yet often takes them off other players.

Surely get somebody else on them?

Really - so he's better than the midfielders in the first half of last season then. Ok

first half only? so he would have got a look in 2nd half then? so you are arguing with yourself now?

let it go,everyone knows you dont like him, but when he plays well and gets motm you dont need to reply with a putdown for him in every single thread

No he did get in the second half - along with Cole - that went well.

It's hardly a put down and I've hardly seen him play well and I see his obsession with set pieces yelling constantly for possession and running around (without the ball) as a negative not a positive.

He's exceeded baker as the most overrated player here.

It's another symptom of what's wrong with the transfer policy. We signed him purely as he wants to live her and asked for a contract. The likes of him Reid Sordell etc. Are on a downward slope. There's a reason for that oddly enough.

from sounds of it and the games ive seen he looks like 1 of our best players

you could say this is due to team being terrible but i dont agree, i think hes v good this season and if he played like this when arrived last season who knows what could have happened. looks like he just needed time to settle in again

kids got talent, and if being homesick gave us an advantage then we are lucky.

Can't argue with that although Agyei would get a 1
Terrible terrible player, and highlighted how Bolton's forwards pressed the defenders into the inevitable error for the goal.
WE only started putting pressure on the forwards after this lazy lazy c**t left the field.

I was going to give him a 2, he did have one shot on the turn first half that was goal bound, so gets above a 1 for that! He is dreadful though, one instance in the second half Page was desperate for him to make a run into the channel and he hid before moaning about it to Page.
