rcc 9 - really good catching, some super saves near the end. punches looked a bit ropey but got the job done. plucked a freekick out of top corner and made it look easy

vincelot 5- in poor form. passing is pretty bad. did job defending though i guess

martin 6 - solid

stephens 5.5 - solid but sloppy with passes

ricketts 5 - adds little in attacking sense

phillips 5 - no attacking intent and commits too much to challenges. came close to giving away a pen yet again

fleck 5 - really poor first half. was off pace. got better in 2nd with some lovels passes out wide

cole 6 - did nothing wrong. not hugley impactful though

lameries 6
maddison 5 both these 2 showed some good turns but final ball was lacking. lameries should have had a pen tbf

armstrong 5 - hardly touched the ball

rose 7 - just for the finish. but showed good work rate too and got in a position to score a 2nd too
bigi 6 - happy with bigi when he came on. hassled bradford and wa shappy to foul when required
tudgay 6 - some great time wasting in corner

Shocked at the 7's for bigi. Thought he was shocking for the majority of the time he was on the pitch.

I thought he was a lot better than he has been. Made a pretty crunching tackle too.

I thought he knocked the easy passes well in his first 5 mins, the decided to go Hollywood and gave the ball away stupidly 3-4 times, then looked completely lost in the last 10 mins out on tbr left wing.

I thought that, when he first came on he was playing 5 - 10 yard passes.

Gave the ball away a few times, tried to take their player out to slow down play but completely missed it.

Was Cole injured or tired? He looked a bit confused to be brought off.

Ricketts and Phillips did really well I thought playing out of their natural positions.
Vincelot struggled at the back
Martin and Stephens did well and stood up to the physical contest.
RCC...city MOTM
Midfield...ok but nothing special last night
Armstrong...little opportunity

yeah, he ran his ass off and made alot of tackles/blocks

and when he did mess up he made up for it immeditley

also liked that he tried to foul a player that got away from him

Thought bigis energy was excellent. Really surprised he hasn't learnt how dangerous it is to play a long cross field pass and not nail it and leave your real hopeless key exposed down the middle

Rcc 8
Vincelot 5 off the pace and poor passing
Martin 7.5
Stephens 6
Phillips 7
Ricketts 6.5 so annoying how he doesn't mark or close down the cross
Fleck 6.5
Cole 6 slows everything down and always plays the easy pass. Could easily have given goal away with poor control in first half
Lameiras 7 excellent energy still lightweight on the ball but gets the crowd and the team going
Maddison 6.5 so frustrating great on the ball
Arma 7 excellent energy makes run after run after run without receiving a pass he will learn to keep making them

Rose 7 great finish and energy and ability in the air
Bigi 7 good 30 mins in my eyes
Tudgay 6 didn't have the same impact as normal. Great composure in the corner at the end

Ref 2 so inconsistent. Clear penalty and where were the 5 mins from and he played 6 plus

Yes, there were a few wayward passes. Fleck does the same though most weeks but its not mentioned. I'm certainly not a Bigi fan or anything and am not too bothered if we sign him or not, but credit where it's due.

i think that is a very good point. credit where its due. its got to point where people are prejudging his performances and refusing to budge from that

I'm not pre judging him, it's how I saw it. Its not like I've given him a 3, I gave him a 5 along with maddison, lamieres, Armstrong, ricketts and Phillips so I'm not picking on him just surprised at the 7's as that's a pretty high score in my book.

I'm surprised at the 7 for Stephens. Loads of wayward passes, looked as if he was on a different planet most of the time. The Tudgay and Rose keeping ball in the corner was good to see, match management for a change. Unfortunately the mysterious 5 mins added made it a bit pointless in the end.

I made a point of watching Tudgay when he came on. Outside the corner shenanigans he was constantly organising people around him, telling them when to slow down and when to press. He's a great option to bring on when you're holding a lead.

RCC 8 - A couple of really important saves. Solid catching.

Vincelot 5 - Needs a rest and recharge.
Martin 7 - Continually impressed with his improvement
Stephens 6 - Looked half asleep first half, came back into it when it mattered.
Phillips 7 - Doing a good job of proving himself.
Ricketts 6 - He isn't as bad as people say.
Fleck 6.5 - Really shit first half in a lot of places, but some strong moments too.
Cole 6.5 - Would like him to play deeper as we've seen.
Lameiras 6.5 - Some good skill, but a bit lightweight. Still tries hard to win the ball back though.
Maddison 5 - Didn't think much to be honest.
Arma 6 - Needs more service still. If he gets a goal he'll be back again. Still tries very hard effort wise.

Rose 6.5 - Still early days, but I want to see more. Great finnish.
Bigi 6 - Better
Tudgay 6 - Calms everything down.

I thought that was one of Bigi's better performances. Not outstanding but better

Fleck does get caught in possession or give the ball away too often. There was one passage of play where he gave the ball away, it came back to him, and he gave it away again. That's why I don't get excited about him moving up to Championship.

Armstrong raced across near the end and was lucky to miss his tackle by the touch line. It reminded me of Kevin Kyle getting sent off for something similar.

6 substitues is 3 mins added, so I expected at least 4
