Was a stange loan signing considering he hardly had any game time. Not entirely sure what the thinking is.

Need cover in the middle since Morris went back. And from the sounds of it, Bigi has been pushing for it.

I'd guess from Newcastle's POV it's one last shot after his poor loan at Rangers. From his, it's a chance to get back to a safe space and recover his form after whatever has messed him up. From ours, it's someone who if he can get his head right is a decent player if you ask some Newcastle fans, who loves the club and should fit right in and who can come on for 20 minutes and rest Fleck/Vincelot if they're close to a yellow card ban.

I agree with cc4l, today wasn't about ability it was about nerves or trying too hard. Give him a few weeks with Mowbray and at the very least you know he won't play him if he's not up for it. Look at Cole.

When i used to play i got called offside from a goal kick. I moaned at the ref telling him it was basic knowledge he read his rule book at full time then came and apologised to me...

Cook 7 - didn't move for the goal, rolled the ball out putting us in trouble a few times when should have held on and same with a clearance.
