Burge 6 - Didn't have that much to do, one good save first half (Dagnall should really have scored)

Willis 5 - Isn't a right back, poor distribution.

Martin 5 - I know he's been told not to fuck about with it but come on, some of his rushed clearances are ridiculous, not sure whether it was him or Pennington or both at fault for the goal

Pennington 5 - Distribution not good either, look up for fuck's sake

Stokes 5 - Needs a rest

Odelusi 4 - He did put 3 tackles in (well 4 if you count the time he took the ball off Ward who was shaping up for another shot)

Ward 8 - Cov's best player, good turn of pace and looks good driving forward.

Fleck 7 - He got about the pitch a bit and tried to push us forward, still not really hurting the opposition though.

O'Brien 7 - He might be a bit of a headless chicken but he tries to make things happen, we had zero threat when he went off as nobody else tries to find space like he does.

Nouble 5 - Passes when he shouldn't, holds on to it when he shouldn't. Gets more frustrating as the game goes on.

Samuel 5 - nothing mark as he went off quite early, hope it's not for long as we missed him.

Subs

Thomas 5 - Unlucky with the shot off the line, but was far too deep most of the time, rather than trying to run on for flick ons.

Haynes 4 - Touched the ball twice, gave it away twice I think.

Turgott 4 - Not much impact either.

Mowbray 5 - Thought he got the Samuel change completely wrong and then waited far too long to change it otherwise. If it was Pressley the forum would be up in arms.

I would say that is incredibly generous for both Fleck and JOB. 6 tops I would say.

The rest of the marks I would say are pretty accurate.

Motm - Ward hands down.
Credit to both Fleck and Pennington. Thought they impressed.
Disappointed with JOB and Odelusi.

I thought Odelusi was dreadful.

Burge - 6 saved a belter on half time and nothing much could do with the goal.

Willis - 5 isn't a right back at all.

Pennington - 6 committed and steady as always.

Martin -6 ok. Not much to do but done it satisfactory

Stokes - 5 lacked tonight. Looks tired.

Ward 7 motm as most people are saying. Shame he was on the losing side.

Fleck - 6 played well actually for me. Dropped off after the orient goal like they all did.

O brien -3 was awful full stop.

Odeluzi- 6 tried but nothing came off.

Nouble- 6 some nice touches but not good enough tonight and gave up in the end. Shame.

Thomas - 3 sorry was awful and why turgott didn't come on I will never know.

Burge - 6 Didn't have to do much
Willis - 5 He's no right back
Pennington - 6 Defended well
Martin -5 Satisfactory, didn't do much
Stokes - 4 Attack to the half way line, pass sideways/backwards. Repeat.
Ward 7 MOTM. Always looked a thread. A standout in a poor side.
Fleck - 6.5 Decent distribution with the ball. Let down by other players not giving him the option.
O brien - 4 Worst I've seen him play, unusually poor.
Odeluzi- 5 Tried but didn't work out. Final ball let him down.
Nouble- 4 Why wasn't he taken off?!
Samuel - N/A Not on long enough to judge

Subs:

Thomas - 3 sorry w4 Let down by he long balls to him but I just don't think he's good enough (yet)
Turgott - N/A see Samuel
Haynes - N/A see Samuel

Martin will be out of the team if Johnson can prove his fitness, I'm sure of it.

Burge 6 Very good save but needs to hurry up with his distribution and maybe try to keep it on the pitch.
Willis 6 fairly solid as a defender but offers nothing going forward I prefer Phillips
Stokes 4 Put him out of his misery (or me out of mine) and get rid, forever out of position never thought I would say this but would prefer Jordan Clarke instead of him
Martin 4 he is a disaster waiting to happen and as I have said before he cannot kick the ball and is fairly poor in the air.
Pennington 6 gets dragged down by the rest of the defence and lacks confidence when bringing the ball forward it's not like there isn't cover with Fleck about two inches in front of the defence
O'Brien 5 Headless chicken and just seems to be out of position all the time
Fleck 4 Getting worse and getting deeper and deeper, slows the play down all the time
Ward 6 Tries to drive the play but needs support from Fleck who is normally twenty yards deeper
Odelusi 6 Tried hard but not a lot of end product
Samuel 6 Unlucky to get injured they knew what they were doing getting the only likely scorer injured
Nouble 2 Does nothing couldn't win a header at the end and only bullies the full back, he has a good 15 minutes every third game and it is so good we all think he is doing well

Thomas 3 Boy in a mans world far to soon for him, I would have taken him off at about 60 mins and don't think he should be included for the rest of the season
Turgot To late to do anything much
Haynes Not the same player he was at the start of the season

One thing I noticed tonight at least I think I did and It was Martin
Where he attempted to bring the ball out of defence It was all right footed around 4 touches and then a balk out wide to Haynes I think
All done with right foot Yet he plays Left side of the pair
Is that normal/ Natural, obviously I'm doubting It as Webster played to his left IIRC

As far as Thomas' performance goes, the Orient back four would have been licking their lips at the prospect of facing him for the majority of the game. He played the most ineffectual 45 minutes against them last January in a 2-0 defeat, far far too much far far too soon.

Think Mowbray settled for point and another basic defensive mistake fucked it up, O'Brien's distribution is woeful and it was his dreadful pass that eventually led to their goal. Burge did okay again. As for Turbut to be honest I can see why there is a reluctance to play him, not good enough and another question as to who brought him here. Our struggles are down to the awful recruitment of the last 6 months

First 25 of second half we should have been out of sight and how anyone can mark ward below a 7 is beyond me. Agree about thomas and turgott at 70 was the move. Don't know why Mowbray delayed things
