The 2 young lads in the middle of the park in the first half played really well distributing the ball around, not sure of the names but the ginger haired one seemed to dictate play quite a bit and looked very good, the other was misplacing passes a little but as game went on got better. Lewis Garner looked very good feeding balls through to ROD, shame he couldn't take them or he would have 5 or 6 ! Sheffers and Hussey linked up well and played some nice 1-2's. The tall black guy in defence looked very good and imposing, think he needs to be signed up asap. Malaga also put in a good 45 minutes, both CB's looked very composed and competent. Burge looked abit dodgy in my opinion, doesn't help kicking a spare ball out of the ground... and almost putting it in his own net! but he'll learn. Overall was a good passing performance, was nice to see CT get the armband in the 2nd half. Looked very good on and off the ball. Was impressed!

I felt today there were plenty of positives, considering the last time we played hinckley was 3-0 and the timebefore that 0-0 so it was good to see us score a few goals.

First half we started well, I thought mcsheffrey was very sharp and was one of our best players first half hussey worked well with him also. Roy 'Donovan missed so many easy chances it was unreal, but credit that he got into the positions.
The new guy Malaga was very good, composed on the ball and looks like a good footballing centre back. So looking forward to seeing more of him.
Baker was average but a good first period.

Second half obviously saw a total change in the lineup and saw Stephen Elliot and john fleck play since signing and fleck was good making some nice touches and passes, kilbane was strong and reliable which will be crucial for us in the coming season. Unfortunately Elliot got injured so can't really comment on him.
Will Roberts really impressed me and looked very confident on the ball.
So good result, always nice to see CCFC scoring lots of goals but a good start to preseason.
Play Up SKYBLUES!!!

Edited to reflect what somebody in SISU has certainly said at some point recently

Can you tell me what the formation was? And who was skipper first half?

Sheffers was the skipper and it looked like a 4-2-3-1
